I hope you're enjoying this beautiful weekend. I just wanted to take a moment to
remind you that, on this Tuesday, September 9, there will be a Democratic Primary
Election for several offices, both local and statewide.

While the statewide races receive the most attention from the media, I am asking you
to support some great candidates for local offices. Turnout will probably be quite low,
which is why I decided to reach out to you.

In the most local race, you have two dedicated community members who are willing to
volunteer their time to represent your neighborhood on the Democratic Committee.

These two Democrats have stepped up to not only carry petitions for Democratic
candidates, but also to better represent your interests in city government as we
implement our vision for a more engaged democracy.

For the position of City Court Judge, I am asking you to support Keith Gorman. Keith
has a wealth of legal experience (35 years), and has humbly and compassionately
served a diverse group of clients with courtesy and respect. Contrary to some negative
mail pieces that have been circulated by his opposition, Keith is a long-time registered
Democrat. Keith has been endorsed by City Council President Rodney Wiltshire,
Councilman Bob Doherty, and me.

Polls will be open on Tuesday, September 9 from 12:00 noon until 9:00pm.
