I am applying for the program MS ! I "ant to continue and gain a higher
degree of education in ! #his can help me in pursuing my lo$e of teaching!
If gi$en a chance to %e admitted in this program, I "ill defnitely %e gi$ing my
studies the e&ort and attention it needs! I "ill see to it not to lose focus, as I am also
"or'ing! In fact I am already opening myself to all the 'no"ledge, possi%ilities, and
e(periences that I may encounter during and after this phase in my life! I "ill
comply "ith all the re)uirements needed to pass this program! I "ill see to it that I
fnish this program as soon as possi%le, %eing not a full time student!
I am eager to concentrate on the area of antimicro%ial resistance, specifcally in
Mycobacterium tuberculosis. #he de$elopment of resistance to anti%iotics drugs %y
most of %acterial organisms is one of the contemporary pro%lems in medicals! #hat
is "hy I am really interested in the causes of anti%iotic drug resistance in the
molecular le$el!
In terms of academic, mental and emotional preparedness, I am confdent enough
to say that at this time I am $ery much ready! I "aited for almost t"o years *ust to
ensure a sta%le employment %efore fnally ta'ing this long-co$eted path! I also
already as'ed permission from my super$isor to ta'e this degree! I ha$e long
prepared for this!
I ha$e no other options for my post-graduate studies other than +P, as I am a
staunch %elie$er in its cali%er as an educational institution! An Is'olar ng ,ayan is
al"ays an Is'olar ng ,ayan! Also, for a indi$idual coming from hum%le %eginnings, I
am glad that +P e(ists to cater to and em%race young non-a-uent Filipinos that are
eager to learn and e(cel for the %etterment of himself, his family, his immediate
community, and his country! I %elie$e in +P so much that in fact, after e$erything, I
plan to gi$e %ac' and teach in +P .isayas to aid future generations of Is'olars ng
,ayan! I also hope to %e part of researches that "ill impro$e the country/s medical
ser$ices and "ill yield medical products that can %e a$ailed %y my underpri$ileged
