Reporting directly to the President & CEO of KEI, I oversee all programs, conduct research and writing for KEI
projects and blogs for The Peninsula, and supervise interns. My responsibilities range from maintaining and
coordinating program schedules to assisting in website maintenance and making sure KEI staff are on task with their
program outputs. Specifics include:
Writing blogs, articles, and papers for internal and external sources on all things East Asian Identity
Editing KEI reports which are distributed to ministries of the Korean Embassy, think-tanks, and Asia experts
Managing logistics for all KEI programs including: University Programs, Academic Symposium, Academic
Paper Series, Future of Korea, Korean American Day, and Ambassadors Dialogues
Quickly builds expertise in developing Korean issues to draft briefs, talking points, reports
Working with external partners and staff to ensure successful execution of all programs
Website maintenance: updating content for events, KEI news, and blogs
Experience with: drupal, icontact, wordpress, weebly, tumblr, twitter, facebook, instagram
Selecting each class of interns and providing guidance and professional development programs for KEI
interns. This includes the output of Daily Press each work-day morning
Ongoing attendance at Korean language classes through the Korean Embassy
