to help learn with peers and with critique. We worked with partners on this project and I worked with Chris abbert. !he goal of this project was to create a super hero"super #illain out of the HOHAM that we were assigned$the HOHAM that Chris and I got was %nli&ited 'otential$ and we also got assigned to &ake it a #illain. Our #illains na&e is Anti('otential$ and his power is decepti#e &ind control$ &eaning that once he has you thinking in the state of &ind thinking that you ha#e no potential and can)t do the things that you want$ then he will be able to control you. His alter(ego is a business&an na&ed *onathan White$ and he co&es fro& an unknown planet. His weakness is when people use +elf Ad#ocacy and he)s not able to get the& in that state of &ind. Our #illain is &ade out of plywood that we cut oursel#es and we did this by first$ creating a s&all sketch of our #illain then &easuring hi& up to scale to fit our plywood. Once we traced the sketch onto the plywood$ we cut hi& out using a jigsaw. Afterwards we painted hi& and designed hi& the way we wanted. +o&e things that went well during the project was the fact that we were all engaged and we could do whate#er we wanted with our hero as long as it followed the HOHAM we were assigned. It was a pretty fun project that a lot of people got creati#e with and enjoyed. One thing I think that I a& &ost proud of would be the cut out of our #illain because$ I think that I did a good job cutting hi& out and a& #ery proud of that. A HOHAM I think I used a lot during this project would be cooperation. Me and &y partner worked pretty well together and were able to get things done. !owards the end of the project I caught a cold and was unable to be there for a couple of days$ but e#en though this was a couple of days it left Chris to finish up the project by hi&self. ,ortunately$ Chris was able to co&plete the project and I a& #ery thankful for hi& doing so. I feel that the painting aspect could-#e been done a little neater and cleaned up so&e &ore$ I also feel that towards the end this project got a little rushed and people weren-t using their ti&e wisely. Our work changed a little bit fro& our first to final draft. Instead of just putting A' on his chest we took the ti&e to write out Anti('otential. We decided to gi#e hi& a full body suit kind of like spider&an instead of a partial costu&e like super&an. !hese changes were so&e that we &ade on our own and the critique re#isions that we got were &ore like cleaning up details and &aking things neater. I learned that critique and re#ision can help you fi. things that you &ay not ha#e noticed and help you to further i&pro#e your work. In our partnership I feel like I wasn-t helping enough because$ Chris see&ed to ha#e wanted to take all the work for hi&self$ and I feel like I could-#e done soðing to help out &ore. I ha#e been working with groups"partners since si.th grade and this see&ed to ha#e worked out pretty well$ but like I said I probably could ha#e done soðing to pitch in &ore. /ow I see that the projects we will be doing will be crunched towards the end and we will be ha#ing to update our 's #ery often. I also see that we will be doing these projects throughout all our classes and they will usually last pretty long. +o&e things that I wish to change would be &e trying to help out so&e &ore. !his was a proble& for &e in the &iddle school because I would only do &y fair share of the work rather than trying to help out$ and do &ore. +o&e things that I was able to do well howe#er$ was co&ing up with ideas and co&pro&ising. Chris and I ne#er argued o#er our ideas and were able to co&e up with a idea we both agreed on. I hope to i&pro#e on these skills in the future and hopefully ha#e a good 0th grade year.
