The most beautiful thing of human mind is his creation which is the
production of his mind, whether this creation happen to be in the form of
poetry, prose or sculpture. These all are proof of the development and
creativity of a human mind. It’s a well-known fact that Literature represents
the life and soul of society.

Literature and society: Literature is life and the life is literature. In our society,
literature has put the thorough impact on our minds. It has created as many
possibilities as it can to soothe our souls, to enlighten our minds and broadened the
view of to society.

Whatever society represents, literature gives us that in the written form. Without
literature no society can exist as it shows its culture and civilization. Moreover,
Literature exhibits the literary taste and talent of the society.

Chronicle History of human life: Literature reflects its time and period. Literature is
one of the many things that give us the glimpses of History i.e. living style, culture,
language, desires, monument etc. it has also such talent to impact on the present
time as well as describing the upheavals of its creation time.

Every era is known by its special author or writer. For example, we can also
name renaissance as Shakespearian or Marlowe era. The novelists of eighteen
century like Hardy, Jane Austin, and George Eliot have brought out a dramatic
change in society whereas the poets like Alexander Pope has also spotlighted the
social evils and helped to improve them.

Iqbal is a well known name, all over the world, for his contribution in awakening the
society. His poetry has played a pivotal role in awareness of society as well as the
partition of subcontinent.
