How to use the Prague Card
The Prague Card is valid per calendar days and not for 24hour periods. It expires at midnight.
VALIDITY OF THE CARD
The PRAGUE CARD is only valid when there is the HOLDER'S NAME and the STARTING
DATE of its use.
Please enter in ink into the boxes on the back side the exact date when you intend to start using
the card. Put the day in the rst two, the month in the second two, and the year in the third
two boxes. Please make sure that all six boxes are lled in, pung 0 where appropriate. For
example, if you start using the card on 4th of May, 2014 you enter: 04 05 14. Please make sure
you ll in the card correctly, as overwrien, corrected or illegible cards may not be used. Dont
forget to sign your card before starng to use it. The Prague Card is your personal card and
cannot be transferred to anyone else. Prague Card will be valid from the date specied and
during the following consecuve days, in accordance with the period specied on the card
(2, 3, 4 days).
FREE ADMISSION TO THE ATTRACTIONS
The Prague Card gives you FREE ADMISSION TO OVER 50 ATTRACTIONS listed in the Prague
Card Guide with indicaon FREE. To benet from the free entries, just show your Prague
Card duly validated with the start date. You are entled to make only one entry to each
aracon. The temporary exhibions are not always included in the card. The Prague
Card oers also discounts of up to 50 % for entries to another aracons, visits and tours,
entertainment, leisure aracons, shops, restaurants and other services. The level of dis
count is indicated in the Prague Card Guide with each aracon.
FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORT
During the validity period of the Prague Card you can travel without restricons on public
transport lines in Prague including trams, buses, metro, Airport Express bus, Petn Hill
funicular and ferries. When travelling on these lines, the Prague Card funcons as your
valid cket, so please at request present it to the transport inspecon who is also authorized
to validate the signature on the Card by checking your personal idencaon documents.
The passengers without a cket or with unvalid Prague Card will be ned.
PRAGUE CARD GUIDE
Editorial work on the Prague Card Guide booklet was completed in February 2014. Prague
Card cannot take responsibility for any later changes in prices, opening hours, closures of
aracons etc. Please always obtain uptodate informaon on the spot.
Before you use your Prague Card, we recommend you
read the following informaon carefully. It is important!
Always have your Prague Card available! It is your transport cket!
The Prague Card is only valid when it is completely lled in.
No reimbursement if aracons are temporarily closed.
The aracons reserve the right to change their prices and hours without noce.
The card is nonrefundable. No replacements or refunds for lost or stolen cards.
No refunds can be provided if the facilies are not used during the period of validity.

Die Prague Card ist nur glg, wenn mit der UNTERSCHRIFT DES KARTENINHABERS sowie
das DATUM DES NUTZUNGSBEGINNS versehen. Wir ersuchen Sie, dem Datum, ab dem Sie die
Karte benutzen mchten, in die hierfr vorgesehenen Felder auf der Rckseite der Karte ein
zutragen. In die ersten beiden Felder tragen Sie bie den Tag, in die darauf folgenden Felder
den Monat und in die letzten beiden Felder das Jahr. Lassen Sie dabei keine Felder leer. Felder,
die Sie gegebenenfalls nicht bengt haben, mssen mit einer 0 gekennzeichnet werden
(dem 4. Mai 2014 entspricht zum Beispiel die Zahlenabfolge 04 05 14). Bie fllen Sie die Karte
sorgflg aus, da Karten, die Korrekturen, Ergnzungen oder unleserliche Angaben enthalten,
automasch als unglg betrachtet werden! Denken Sie auch daran, vor Nutzungsbeginn
Ihre Karte zu unterschreiben! Die Prague Card ist personengebunden und somit auf Drie
nicht bertragbar. Die Prague Card ist ab dem eingetragenen Datum und in den darauolgen
den, auf der Karte angegebenen Tagen glg (2,3,4 Tage).
FREIER EINTRITT ZU DEN ATTRAKTIONEN
Die Karte gibt Ihnen FREIER EINTRITT ZU BER 50 ATTRAKTIONEN, die in der Prague Card
Handbuch enthalten sind mit der Angabe FREE (KOSTENLOS). Damit Sie in den Genuss der
Grasleistungen kommen, zeigen Sie bie die mit dem entsprechenden Glgkeitsdatum ver
sehene Prague Card dem Personal des Leisstungstrgers vor. Sie haben nur einen Eintrag auf
jede Arakon. Die speziellen Wechselausstellungen sind nicht immer in der Karte enthalten.
Die Prague Card bietet bis zu 50% Ermigung in Museen und Sehenswrdigkeiten, Besuche
und Fhrungen, Shopping, Restaurants und anderer Dienstleistungen.
KOSTENLOSE FAHRTEN
Whrend der Glgkeit gewhrt die Karte Ihnen kostenlose Fahrten in unbegrenzter Anzahl
in den entlichen Verkehrsmieln in Straenbahnen, Autobussen, in der Metro, Airport
Express, Standseilbahn auf den Petn, und die Personenfhren ber die Moldau. Whrend der
Fahrt in den entlichen Verkehrsmieln ist die Prague Karte Ihre Fahrkarte, auf Auorderung
der Kontrolleure haben Sie die Karte den Kontrolleuren vorzuzeigen. Diese Personen sind
berechgt, von Ihnen einen Ausweis zur Idenkaon Ihrer Person zu verlangen und dadurch
auch die Echtheit der Unterschri auf der Karte zu kontrollieren. Die Fahrgste ohne glgen
Fahrschein oder mit abgelaufener Karte sind verpichtet, eine Nachgebhr zu zahlen.
PRAGUE CARD GUIDE
Der Redakonsschluss dieser Ausgabe der Broschre zur Prag Karte erfolgte am Februar
2014. Preise und nungszeiten knnen sich im Laufe des Jahres ndern, daher kann die Prague
Card diesbezglicher Angaben keine Haung bernehmen.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen, die folgenden Informaonen aufmerksam
durchzulesen, bevor Sie Ihre Prague Card bentzen. Sie sind wichg!
Bie haben Sie Ihre Karte immer zur Hand, denn nur diese gilt als Fahrausweis fr
die entlichen Verkehrsmiel.
Die Karte ist nur vollstndig ausgefllt glg und nicht bertragbar.
Bei Verlust der Karte kann kein Ersatz geleistet werden.
Ebenfalls kein Kostenersatz bei Schlietagen von Sehenswrdigkeiten und anderen
Leistungstrgern. Fr innerhalb der Glgkeitsdauer nicht verbrauchte Leistungen
kann kein Kostenersatz erfolgen.

Comment uliser la Prague Card
La Prague Card est valide pour les jours naturels et non pour des periods de 24 heures.
La Carte expire minuit.
VALIDIT DE LA CARTE
La Carte Prague Card nest valable que si elle comporte LA SIGNATURE DU TITULAIRE
et LA DATE DU COMMENCEMENT de son ulisaon. Marquez avec un stylo dans les cases au
revers de la carte la date parr de laquelle vous voulez luliser : crivez les chires du jour
dans les deux premires cases, le mois dans les deux suivantes, et lanne dans les dernires
deux cases. Veuillez remplir toutes les six cases, en crivant un zro dans les cases qui resteraient
vides (p. ex. : 4 mai 2014: 04 05 14). Prenez soin de remplir la carte de faon prcise, car on
naccepte pas les cartes rcrites, corriges ou illisibles. Noubliez pas de la signer avant la
premire ulisaon ! La Prague Card est nominave et nest pas transfrable. La Prague Card
sera valide parr de la date spcie et pendant les jours suivants conscufs, selon la
dure indique sur la carte (2,3,4 jours).
ENTRE GRATUITE DANS LES ATTRACTIONS
La carte Prague Card permet UNE VISITE GRATUITE DANS PLUS DE 50 ATTRACTIONS
gurant dans le Prague Card Guide avec lindicaon FREE (GRATUITE). Pour proter des
gratuies, il est ncessaire de presenter la Prague Card valide avec la date de dbut d'uli
saon. Vous avez droit une entre chaque aracon. Les exposions temporaires ne
sont pas toujours inclus dans la carte. La Prague Card propose aussi des reducons de jusqu'
50 % dans les autre aracons, visites et excursions, spectacles, bouques, restaurants et
autres services.
TRANSPORT PUBLICS GRATUITS
Pendant la dure de validit de la carte vous pouvez voyager sans limitaon sur les tous les
moyens de transports: en tram, en autobus, en mtro, autobus Airport Express, funiculaire
la colline de Petn et les ferries sur la rivire. Sur les moyens de transports la Carte fait
foncon de cket. Sur demande, veuillez la montrer aux contrleurs qui sont habilits v
rier lauthencit de la signature appose sur la carte, en le comparant avec celle gurant
dans votre pice dident. Les passagers sans billet ou avec caduque Prague Card seront
passibles d'une amende.
LE GUIDE PRAGUE CARD
La rdacon du prospectus de la Prague Card Guide sest termine en fvrier 2014, ainsi
Prague Card dcline toute responsabilit concernant les donnes (prix, heures douverture,
fermeture) qui sont suscepbles de changer avec le temps.
Avant duliser la Prague Card, nous vous recommandons de lire
aenvement linformaon suivante. Cest trs important!
Nous vous prions de toujours avoir votre carte puce sur vous. Il est de votre billet
de transport publics! La carte n'est valable que si elle est enrement remplie.
Aucun remboursement n'est prvu pour les jours de fermeture des aracons et
d'autres prestataires. Les aracons se rservent le droit de modier leurs prix et
les heures.
La carte est nonremboursable. Aucun remplacement nest eectu en cas de perte
ou de vol de la carte. De mme, aucun remboursement n'est accord pour les
prestaons non consomms pendant la priode de validit.

LA VALIDEZ DE LA TARJETA
La Tarjeta Prague Card slo tendr validez si lleva incorporada la FIRMA DEL TITULAR
y la FECHA DEL COMIENZO de su ulizacin. En las casillas al dorso de la tarjeta marque con
nta la fecha a parr de la cual quiere ulizarla: ponga las cifras correspondientes al da en las
dos primeras casillas, las del mes en las dos siguientes y las de ao en las lmas dos casillas.
Rellene todas las casillas, poniendo un cero en la casilla que quedara vaca (p. ej.: 4 de mayo
2014: 04 05 14). Rellene la tarjeta cuidadosa y precisamente porque no se aceptan tarjetas
modicadas, corregidas o ilegibles. No olvide rmar la tarjeta antes de la primera ulizacin.
La Tarjeta Prague Card es nominava y no es transferible. La tarjeta tendr validez a parr de
la fecha especicada y durante los siguientes das consecuvos, de acuerdo con la duracin
que se indica en la tarjeta (2, 3, 4 das).
ENTRADA GRATUITA EN LOS ATRACCIONES
La tarjeta Prague Card da derecho a VISITAR GRATUITAMENTE MS DE 50 ATRACCIONES,
museos y otros lugares de inters que se incluyen en la Guda Prague Card Guide con
la indicacin FREE (GRATUITE). Para disfrutar de las gratuidades es preciso presenter la Prague
Card validada con la fecha de inicio de ulizacin. Usted ene derecho a hacer una sola entrada
para cada atraccin. Las exposiciones temporales especiales no siempre se incluyen en la
tarjeta. La Prague Card ofrece tambien descuentos hasta el 50% en otros museos y lugares de
inters, visitas y tours, espectculos, endas, restaurants y otros servicios. El nivel de descuento
se indica en la gua con cada atraccin.
TRANSPORTE PBLICO GRATUITO
Durante el perodo de validez de la tarjeta Prague Card se puede viajar sin restricciones
a lneas de transporte pblico en Praga, incluyendo tranva, autobs, metro, autobs Airport
Express, funicular de Petn y transbordadores. Al viajar en estas lneas, la tarjeta Prague Card
le servir de billete vlido. Mustrela a los revisores que estn autorizados a pedirles los docu
mentos de idendad y comprobar la autencidad de la rma en la tarjeta. Sern multados
los pasajeros sin billete o con tarjeta Prague Card no valida.
GUA PRAGUE CARD
La redaccin del folleto Prague Card Guide ha terminado en Febrero 2014, as Prague Card
no se responsabiliza por eventuales modicaciones que se produzcan en los datos (precios,
horario).
Antes de ulizar su Prague Card, le recomendamos que lea
atentamente la siguiente informacin. Es importante!
Siempre ene su tarjeta Prague Card a mano ya que es el cket para los medios de
transporte pblicos!
La Tarjeta solo es vlida si todos los campos estn completados correctamente.
En el caso de que los monumentos estn cerrados al pblico o no se pueda prestar
un servicio, no se reabonarn los costes. Las atracciones se reservan el derecho de
cambiar sus precios y horarios.
La tarjeta no es reembolsable. No hay sustuciones o reembolsos por las tarjetas
perdidas o robadas. No se reabonarn los costes de los servicios que no se hayan

La Prague Card vale per giorni naturali non periodi di 24ore.
La tessera termina a mezzanoe.
LA VALIDIT DELLA TESSERA
La tessera Prague Card valida se FIRMATA DALLUTENTE, e reca la DATA DELLINIZIO delluso.
Sul rovescio della tessera dovete scrivere a penna la data dellinizio delluso della stessa:
le prime due rubriche servono per il giorno, la terza e la quarta per il mese, la quinta e la
sesta per lanno. Tue e sei le rubriche devono essere compilate scrivendo 0 nelle rubriche che
rimarrebbero vuote (per esempio: 4 maggio 2014: 04 05 14). Siete prega di far aenzione
a compilare correamente, perch la tessera trascria, correa o illeggibile non sar valida!
Prima di cominciare ad usarla si ricordi di rmare la sua tessera! La Prague Card personale
e non pu essere ceduta ad altri. La Prague Card sar valida a parre dalla data indicata e nei
giorni immediatamente successivi, tan quan indicato sulla tessera (2, 3, 4 giorni).

Organ Concerts
St. Francis Church, Charles Bridge
St.Francis of Assisi church is located
on oldest crossroads of Prague, on the
Old Town end of Charles Bridge. The
church was built in years 16811689
in baroque style, by the Order of the
Knights of the cross with the red star,
unique Czech medieval knight's order,
sll exisng today. Rare baroque organ
of St. Francis church constructed in 1702
is second oldest organ instrument in
Prague. This organ was played by
celebrate arsts as Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart or Antonin Dvorak.
Organ concerts in St. Francis church,
produced by JCH ART AGENCY since
1993, are well known also for its high
level performing arsts and aracve
program, where you will hear not only
famous pieces as Ave Maria or Alleluia,
but also lot of other beauful pieces
from European and Czech composers.

state, founded in the year 1344 by
Jan Lucembursk and his sons Karel
and Jan Jindich.The construcon
period connued nearly 600 years
and it was nally completed in 1929.

Prague Castle Oldest Preserved Church Building
PRAGUE CASTLE
Founded in 920 by the
Prince Vraslav I, it was
rebuilt in the 12th century. The facade
gained its present baroque appearance in
the 17th century. Outstanding are the
chapels of St. John of Nepomuk and
St. Ludmila, grandmother of St. Wenceslas,
the rst Czech Chrisan martyr.

Small houses built in the
gothic forcaon, the 16th
century homes of castle riemen and
crasmen. In 19161917 Franz Kaa
used to work in No. 22. Forcaon
tower Daliborka built in 1496 served
also as a prison. It was given its name
aer the rst prisoner.

The Holy Cross Chapel is also
called the Treasury, because
it was adapted to hold the exhibion
of the most precious relics from the
St. Vitus Treasury. The exhibion has
been open to public for a period of
10 years, unl 2021.

Naonal Gallery exhibion Baroque

A tower having a diameter
of 20 m and 44 m high,
comes from the 15th century, part of
the castle forcaon. It used to
serve as a gunpowder depot, now it
houses exhibions and armoury pre
senng several periods of the military
history on the Czech territory.

The origins of The Stone Bell
date from the 13th century,
built as a town palace most likely for
King John of Luxembourg. It is the
only house in Prague remaining in its
original Gothic appearance. Now, the
building serves as the venue for exhi
bitons of the City Gallery Prague.

Monumental Entrance to the Old Town
OLD TOWN
In 1475, in the place of
former fort caton, the new
tower gate was erected representng
a prestgious entry to the Old Town of
Prague. The present name dates back
to the tme, when there used to be a
powder depot there.

Praga. Su denominacin actual proviene
de la poca en la que se encontraba aqu
un almacn de plvora.

Befestgungsanlage wurde
im Jahre 1475 ein neues Turmtor
gegrndet, welches einen reprsenta
tven Eingang in die Prager Altstadt
darstellt. Die gegenwrtge
Bezeichnung stammt aus der Zeit,
als hier ein Schiesspulverlager war.

THE JEWISH MUSEUM IN
PRAGUE is one of the most
visited museums in the Czech Republic.
Founded in 1906, it is the largest
museum of its kind in Europe and has
one of the largest collectons of Judaica
in the world, with as many as 40,000
objects and 100,000 books. Its sites
are located in the preserved area of
the former Jewish Town in the historic
centre of Prague, which is on UNESCOs
World Heritage List.
The museum tour includes a visit to
the Pinkas, Klausen and Spanish
Synagogues, the Ceremonial Hall
and the famous Old Jewish Cemetery.

The complex of buildings
originated at the turn of the
16th and 17th centuries became the
property of the wellknown patrons of
the art Vojtch Nprstek and his wife.
Nowadays, a museum of natve cultures
of American Indians and Eskimoes,
Pacic area and African natons.

The tower was constructed
together with a Gothic
bridge founded in 1357 by Charles
IV. It represents also a symbolic arch
of triumph on the coronaon route of
Czech kings.

Towers on the Lesser Town Side of the Charles Bridge
CHARLES BRIDGE
The higher of two Lesser
Town Bridge Towers was
constructed in the second half of
the 15th century. By a gate, it is
connected with the adjacent Judith
tower the only standing vesge of
a Romanesque bridge, destroyed by
the ood in 1342.
Der grere von zwei Klein
seitner Trmen entstand in
der 2. Hle des 15. Jahrhunderts. Er ist
durch ein Tor mit dem gegenberliegenden
Judithturm verbunden einem einzigen
Relikt der romanischen Brcke, die
durch ein Hochwasser im Jahre 1342
vernichtet wurde.

pavilion of the Czech Tourist
Club was moved to Petn aer the
Jubilee Exhibion in 1891. There is a
dioramic picture commemorang the
bale of students with Swedes on
Charles Bridge in 1648 and a later on
constructed mirror labyrinth.

The casemates run for a
total distance of almost a
kilometre. They open out into the
monumental hall Gorlice. This hall
now serves as an exhibion space,
and several of the original statues
from Charles Bridge.

Naonal Gallery in Prague: Modern and Contemporary Art

The Funcionalist building was
constructed in 19251929.
Trade fairs were held here unl 1951.
Now, it is the home of the part of the
Naonal Gallery's collecons.
Exhibion of 19th 21st Century Art.

wurde in den Jahren 192529 gebaut.
Bis zum Jahr 1951 wurden hier die
Mustermessen organisiert. Heute, die
einzigargen Sammlungen der Naonal
galerie platziert, welche den Zeitraum
des 19.21. Jahrhunderts umfassen.

contemporanea. Il palazzo
stato costruito negli anni 192529.
Fino all'anno 1951 qui avevano luogo
le ere campionarie. Dopo la ricostruzione,
dall'anno 1995, sono nel palazzo
posizionate le collezioni uniche della
Galleria nazionale, contenen l'epoca
del 19.21. secolo.

and gardens built by J. B.
Mathey 16791685. The core of the
complex is the main threewing build
ing with a great hall. The garden staircase
is decorated by sculptures depicng
