Learning Experiences 1. Teacher to revisit text structure of the The Voyage of the Endeavour as discovered from previous lesson 2. Teacher to distribute packs of photo copied pages from text 3. Text is to be cut up into separate parts 4. Teacher to lead discussion in text structure and organisation (ie. capital letters, sentence structure and paragraphs) 5. Teacher to re affirm discovered knowledge on non-fiction structure and layout 6. With lead discussion on chapters, headings and subheadings, students are then lead to individual work of place their cut outs into the correct order 7. Once each student has indicated they are finished, students with the same pages of book are placed together: 8. Groups are given the following worksheet (RESOURCE 3) and are required to identify aspects of the details within the given text Teacher Resources
