o Emma was using a circuit managers approach by trying to
build a consensus, in a situation where quick decision-making
was necessary, and the various department heads appeared
unlikely to reach a mutual solution. n this scenario, an Arrow
managers approach would have been more suitable.
o !he various departmental heads appeared to be "ocused on
personal goals and less motivated towards the launch o" this
product. Providing leadership by motivating the department
heads was necessary.
o #uick and decisive leadership was the call o" the moment. $y
letting the matter linger, more doubts were allowed gather
around an already di%cult project.
o &ross-department cooperation needed to be promoted in order
to help the employees understand the perspective o" the other
departments.
o Emma needed to be more involved in the project which would
allow her to be "ully in"ormed o" the perspective o" each
department and utili'e her previous e(perience in Production
and )ales to set better estimates and on-spot decisions.
