Observations

On the first day of our duty me with my co-observers immediately proceed to Grade 7, Section Guerero where the first period in
the afternoon of Mr. Morales is allotted. When we arrive we wait quite a minute for Mr. Morales to arrive. All we do is to observe the
students around what are they doing and we also observe the surroundings of the room if it is conducive for learning. Upon the arrival
of Mr. Morales we introduced first ourselves to him in order for us to know each other. Mr. Morales gives his expectations in us as well
as his other class schedules in order for us to cope up the no. of hours to meet during observing in his class. After discussing those
matters with him he introduce us on the class were we about to observe during Mondays afternoon.
After those matters Mr. Morales checked the attendance of the students in order for him to know who is absent in his class.
And its good to hear that mostly of the students is present in the class. After checking the attendance he used to give an instruction
to the students about what they will do for the next meeting which is making an artwork commonly called a resemblance. It is an art
with the use of objects that found anywhere which can make a symbol or a picture to represent something. It must be colorful and
creative one. Mr. Morales used to group his students in order to have a collaboration of ideas between students. The strategy used by
our critic teacher is very effective in order for the students to gain social confidence and to develop their capability in dealing with
others. He also presents an example of resemblance in order for the student to appreciate. Because it is more effective technique to
present the possible outcomes of their projects for the students have an idea what will be going to do.

Observations
On the second time of our duty me with my co-observers immediately proceed to Grade 7, Section Guerero where the first period
in the afternoon of Mr. Morales is allotted. We arrived at the classroom at exactly 1:10 P.M were when we arrived we observed the
students are very busy.
Mr. Morales gives an instruction to the students were they will perform an artwork which is in line with their topic being
discussed lately. Mr. Morales used to group the students by five (5) to have a better output. This is commonly the strategy being used
by our critic teacher which grouping the students in order to have collaboration. As I observe our critic teacher he always base on the
ability of his learners. As what he said that ``I could not give them a hard task because since they are lower section I always consider
their specific needs, interest, and readiness as he said. This also according to the systematic approach to teaching. After groupings
are done students are instructed to go outside to start their task which is called a Resemblance. Upon observing the students making
their task I can see the cooperation and collaboration of the students. They used to collect objects and formed it a symbol. They used
to share their ideas and use their imagination in order to create. On the time also our critic teacher used a digital camera in order to
take pictures of the students. This for him to evaluate properly the project of the students thats why he used a camera as his one of
his instructional media.After the time period for Gr. 7 Guerero Mr. Morales proceed to his 2
nd
and 3
rd
period which the Grade 7,
Section Silang and Grade 7, Section which conducted also the same activity in the said section. As I observe the three sections
perform very well. They used to cooperate and share ideas as well as we as observers are very happy seeing those students who know
how to lead with their group and combine their ideas as one.

Observations

On the third time of our duty we arrived at the school at exactly 1:10 P.M. As we arrived at the school we used to observe that
the students of MNCHS are very busy roaming around the school just it is because there is a program that is being directed on the
covered court. We immediately proceed to the grade 7, section Guerero were the first period of our critic teacher Mr. Allan Morales is
allotted. Upon arriving in the classroom Mr. Morales is there and we are late in almost 10 minutes. We immediately proceed at the
back in order for us not to disturbed the class. While were on the back Mr. Morales is checking the attendance of the students in
order to know the no. of present students and absents students in his class.
After checking he give his feedbacks, observations, and the grades of the students to the project that they do which is the
resemblance. As Mr. Morales says he gives his positive feedbacks to the students because all of the groups exerted their effort to make
a creative artwork which is the resemblance. As our critic teachers does he used to present the projects that being done by the
students for them to look with their works. After his 1

period we precede to the gr. 7 section Silang and gr. 7 section Jacinto where
the 2
nd
and 3
rd
period of Mr. Morales is allotted. He do the same way they do to the gr. 7 Guerero he gave his feedbacks and
observations which help to motivate the class to strive more on the task that will be given to them.

Observations

On the fourth time of our duty me with my co-observers immediately proceed to Grade 7, Section Guerero where the first period
in the afternoon of Mr. Morales is allotted. We arrived at the classroom at exactly 1:10 P.M were when we arrived we observed the
students are very busy. Some of the students are playing outside the classroom, and some are talking inside. When the bell rings the
students immediately get inside the classroom which also a few minute later Mr. Morales arrived at the room. He immediately called
someone who can lead the prayer.
After the prayer he checked the attendance and proceed to the next artwork that they must going to do which is the color
binding which help students to be more creative. Our critic teacher used to present samples of color binding one of the instructional
media that he used to present the topic. He used other learning resources like boards, pictures and textbooks for his lesson. I also
appreciate our critic teacher when he sees someone work who is not correct when he used to correct it in approaching calmly aside of
being anger to the student. This is the implication of a good teacher.After the 1

period we immediately proceed to the gr. 7 section
Silang where the 2
nd
period of Mr. Morales is allotted. Upon arriving at the classroom the students are ready to start with the task. The
things that will be going to use is ready like the colors and papers. While observing the students making their project I can see that
they really love what they are doing right in that time. They are all in focus and performing well. I used to ask someone who is beside
me. I ask him, do you like what you are doing? He simply look at me and smile and said yes sir I love to draw and use colors because
this is one of my hobbies when I have leisure times. So as a teacher I am very glad to hear that answer because instead of playing, or
hanging out he choose to make some artworks and use his skills in the art.

Observations

During the fifth time of our observation we arrived at exactly 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon in the gr. 7 section Guerero.
While we are in the room we are in back part of the classroom observing the students as well as our critic teacher. Mr.
Morales called up one student who has a good skill in writing, one student volunteer. He instructed his students to copy the
words that have been copied in the blackboard because this is their topic that they will be going to discuss on the next
meeting. As I observed to our critic teacher during that time that he presented a sample of an artwork which is their next
topic. This is the unusual technique being used by our critic teacher every he has a new lesson to present. Which is also
good aspects which provide effectiveness of the topic. He makes used some of the instructional resources that is available in
the school. Because using learning materials like pictures help him as a teacher to improve student comprehension and
understanding the lessons being thought.
Upon writing Mr. Morales approach us to manage the class because he is going to live. After the 1
st
period of gr. 7,
section Guerero we immediately precede to gr. 7,section Silang where Mr. Morales is waiting for us. As what he does to his

period he also gives only a task to copy the words on the word for the students to have a copy for their next topic that
will be going to discuss later. Also for his last period in the gr. 7, section Jacinto.

Observations

At exactly 1:05 in the afternoon when we arrive at the Mati National Comprehensive High School for our
duty. When we arrived we immediately proceed to grade 7 section Guerero for where is the first period of our critic
teacher is delegated. When we are their Mr. Morales give us a task to command his students to get inside the
classroom. As the lesson is being taught the students as I observed is very busy talking with their sit mates which
triggers the anger of Mr. Morales. During the discussion Mr. Morales taught a new lesson to his students which all
about the print is making process in the Philippines. The traditional process of printing here in the Philippines
since their topic now is all about arts in Asia. Our critic teacher presents several pictures for the students are able
to appreciate the beauty of it and for them to understand easily. Because it is much better for the students to view
it visually than to imagine it with their own.
When the class is already done we immediately proceed to grade 7 Silang and grade 7 Jacinto which is the
second and third period of our critic teacher. He also taught the students on that section on what are the print
making processes here in the Philippines. Afterwards he gave some assignment to the students to be done at home
as their motivation and evaluation to the topic is being tackled in the afternoon.

Observations

This day is our last day of our observation which is we are in the grade 7 section Guerero which is the first
period of our critic teacher Mr. Morales. When we get there he immediately check the attendance of the students
in order for him to check if his students are in complete attendance for him to assess the learner. Mr. Morales
immediately ask the students to get the materials that will be going too used for their activity which is the coin
rubbing and weaving using art paper. This activity is related to their last topic that is all about the arts.
During the activity I observed that students are very busy doing the activity and I also observed that they are
all enjoying what they are doing. Because it is related to the art. After they have done the activity Mr. Morales try to
check of the work if it is satisfactory and unsatisfactory. But during the final rationale of Mr. Morale which is in
lined to the activity he gave a nice and motivating feedbacks that helps the students to achieve and do more with
their projects. And he appreciate those students who excel and give their more effort for the said activity especially
those students which is the work is very good and nice. And it ends up with a smile on their faces.
