Introduction:
A soil is a dynamic natural body composed of minerals and organic materials and living forms in which
plants grow. Thus, the soil is one of the most important factor in which affects the growth and
development of the plant. It is important to know the fundamentals of soil composition, soil mineralogy,
and its factors which affect the fertility of soil. On the other hand, pests also affect the growth and
development of a plant. It may either give negative or positive contribution to the plants.
