Thoroughly clean animal areas daily, including cages, floors, dishes, bedding, etc.
Spot clean animal and public areas throughout the day.
Feed the animals, including providing special diets as needed.
Monitor the health of the animals on an ongoing basis and identify any health
problems or conditions (medical or behavioral)
Medicate animals as directed.
Provide medical treatments (i.e. bandaging, nail clipping, ear cleaning, etc.)
Monitor post-surgery animals for any difficulty with anesthesia.
Maintain patient records by accurately recording treatments and test results in the
patients medical records.
Admit and release animals in a responsive, courteous and tactful manner and inform
the volunteers, staff, and the public of any pertinent medical information on the
animal's care.
Do laundry, cleaning medical equipment, dishes, washing windows, cleaning and
mopping as needed.

Assist in adoption services including reviewing adoption applications for potential
adoptees and deciding which adopter is best suited for a specific animal or an
animal with specific needs.
