In spite of the economic condition in Barangay Bucalan,
parents remain supportive and cooperative to school
programs and activities. Attendance to school meetings
is very high. Participation in voluntary services
especially during Brigada Eskuwela and Dagyaw is
also high. Pupils are also very participative and very
industrious. Many pupils come from very far
communities but the distance did not hinder them
from coming to school, in fact, it serves as an
inspiration to them waking up very early to walk the
exciting terrain they loved to travel by foot. This
condition made them very punctual in school arriving
before 7:00 in the morning. The long walk has made
them very healthy, producing athletes who made to
division and regional levels. They made it possible for
the school to have garden of flowers and vegetables.
