Short Blurb (myth/legend/folklore) about your topic:A long time ago a man
travelled the galaxy. This man was as big as the sun. One day he was very
fatigued. He needed to rest. He sat on mars but it was too small. He sat on
venus which was too big. Finally he sat on earths atmosphere. It was so
comfortable that stayed and fell into a deep sleep forever. Sitting on the
planet pushed the atmosphere down. The people who flew now walked as
their only way of transportation.

Identify a Problem: Why cant people fly

Gather Information: .The railing is 17.6 feet high. The eraser is
23.2 grams the foam ball is 19.6 grams and the pen is 3.6
grams. The eraser is pink and the regular eraser shape.
The foam ball is white and made of foam. The pen is a
regular white pen with black ink and without a cap.

Materials Needed: A foam ball, an eraser, and a pen

A foam ball time:full way - 0.86 halfway- 0.85
the eraser time: full way- 0.88 halfway- 0.80
the pen time:fullway- 1.11 halfway-0.86

Hypothesis: The eraser will fall faster than the foam ball.

Test: The ball fell faster than the eraser.

(REPEAT ALL EXPERIMENTS)

Collect Data: We dropped all the items and recorded their times. Our first
hypothesis was proven false because the foam ball fell faster. The other 2
hypothesis came true.

Analyze Information:The different objects fell at different speeds. Its not
because of weight but because of air resistance. The pen falls slowest
because of the length on its sides. We thought the ball would fall slower
because of its weight, that wasn't true. The balls air resistance was better
than the erasers because of its shape.
