Whole class teacher led lesson with students on reading mat, and class
discussion.

Allen & Unwin.
Learning Experiences:
1. The teacher introduces the book The Little Refugee by Ahn & Suzanne
Do.
2. Teacher explains to students about the book.
3. Teacher reads the book The Little Refugee, with class discussion at
required pauses. (To ask questions and open discussion on cover,
plot/theme, visuals etc.)
4. Students collect a quiz sheet and sit at their desk for silent individual
work.
5. Quizzes to be collected at the end of lesson.
