Adjustments/modifications:
Research is done in pair selected by the teacher. These pairs will be selected
and mixed by learning abilities and student behaviours. This allows students
to successfully learn through peer learner-ship.

Classroom Organisation:
Teach led then students work in paired groups and share through whole
class discussion.

Resources/Materials:
Questions written up on white board to start research.
o What do these words mean?
o Who are these people?
o Where do they come from?
o Why do they come here?
Then students are to also work on individual questions of
their own.

Learning Experiences:
1. Inform students the following is about research that we will be starting
from the previous lessons and this research will assist them in their
narrative.
2. Class discussion on the research questions they may wish to use.
3. Explain that it is their job to research the questions and then share
this information with the rest of the class.
4. Students are to record this information on the large paper provided.
5. Remind students that this is a low noise activity.
6. Remind students there is a whole class discussion at the end, to share
the information they have found.
