SELECTION IS THE PROCESS OF
CHOOSING DULY QUALIFIED
PERSONS TO THE REQRUITMENT OF
THE JOBS
 DEFINITION:

IS THE PROCESS IN WHICH
CANDIDATES FOR EMPLOYMENT ARE
DIVIDED IN TWO CLASSES,THOSE
ARE TO BE OFFERED EMPLOYMENT
AND THOSE WHO ARE NOT”.
 NEED:
THE APPOINTMENT OF SUITABLE PERSONS
ON VARIOUS JOBS ARE VERY ESSENTIAL.
THE PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED

MEANING:
TESTS ARE THE STANDARDIZED OBJECTIVE

MEASURE OF A PERSONS BEHAVIOR,


PERFORMANCE OR ATTITUDE.
TYPES OF TESTS:

1.INTELLINGENCE TESTS : THESE ARE MENTAL

TESTS WHICH MEASURE THE INCUMBENT’S


LEARNING ABILITY AND ALSO THE ABILITY
TO UNDERSTAND INSTRUCTIONS AND MAKE
JUDGEMENT.
2.APTITUDE TESTS: THEY MEASURE THE

INDIVIDUAL POTENTIAL TO LEARN CERTAIYN


SKILLS.

3.PERSONALITY TESTS: THEY MEASURE
THE CANDIDATES ABILITY TO
INTERPRET PROBLEMS.
4.ACHIEVMENT TEST: THEY ARE

DESIGNED TO MEASURE WHAT THE


APPLICANT CAN DO ON THE JOB.
5.SIMULATION TEST: IT IS A TEST WHICH

DUPLICATES MANY OF THE ACTIVITIES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
BE(TECH) WITH MINIMUM 60%
IN ALL SEMESTERS.

THEY TOOK 5000 EMPLOYEES


IN THIS QUARTER. THE
VARIOUS TESTS CONDUCTED
WERE AS FOLLOWS:
 AFTER ALL THESE
PROCESSESS THEY ARE
NOT TAKEN AS EMPLOYEES
BUT AS TRAINEES
RECEIVING 3 MONTHS OF
TRAINING IN WHICH
CLASSES WILL BE
CONDUCTED FOR THEM IN

EVERYDAY THERE WILL BE 2
SESSIONS OF CLASSES. ONE
IN THE MORNING WHICH
• COMMENCES FROM 8 TO 3 AND THE
OTHER SESSION FROM 3 TO 9.
WEEKLY AND MONTHLY EXAMS ARE
ALSO CONDUCTED. DEPENDING ON
THEIR SCORES THEY WILL BE
SELECTED.
• THEY WILL ALSO BE GIVEN 3 GRACE
CHANCES IF THEIR PERFORMANCE
ARE NOT UPTO THE MARK. THEY
ARE ALSO GIVEN INCENTIVES
DURING THE TRAINING.

• TEST(ONLINE PRACTICAL EXAMS)
• FINAL INTERVIEW (5200)
• MEDICAL EXAMINATION(MENTAL EXAMINATIONS)
• REFERENCE CHECKS
• JOB OFFER(WITHIN 1 WEEK OF REFERENCE
