America during the American Revolution. Jefferson went to Paris to learn French and practice
his culinary skills. He also brought his slave with him. America only has 8 of his written recipes.

is reliable because it is up to date. It gives me a good background about how Jefferson brought
his culinary skills he learned from French to America.
I will use this to support my topic because it talks about French food being brought to the U.S. It
supports it because my topic is about food from different countries being brought to America.
