Focus: Videography; Technical Skills
Critical Media Focus: Cinematography
Goal: Identify areas where lack of media exposure has been
given and/or where facts have been understated or
misrepresented.
Basics:
Students will select a critical issue that is not receiving
sufficient media attention. Students can select national
issues, issues in their school, or issues in their
neighborhood.
Students will create write, plan, direct and film the
newscasts.
Assignment should be done groups.

Create a course website or YouTube page that houses
all of the course films.
