Workshop on Electronics System Design & Manufacturing

The ECE Department of NIEC organised a workshop on the Electronics System

Design & Manufacturing on 29 Mar 2014 in association with the Institution of
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). The active support from the
Industry Interaction Cell of the GGS IP University played a major role in making
this collaborative event possible.

The programme in brief was as follows-

10.00 AM Introduction and welcome of the speakers from IETE and
Electronics industry.

Speakers-
Prof (Dr) G P Govil Director, NIEC, an expert on the
environmentally friendly alternative energy sources.

Mr Deepak-An industrialist from NOIDA dealing in PCB design and
manufacture.

Mr Tejbir Singh-A consultant in electronics manufacturing industry.
Having over 35 years experience in senior positions in Indian
Telephone Ind (ITI).

Col Balraj Anand- A member of Governing counsil of IETE, Ex
Chairman, IETE, Delhi Centre, Previous experience with corporate
and defence background.

Ms Suman Arora, Asst Prof- with NIEC. She has been groomed by
IETE and has had long innings with industry before changing over to
academics for the benefit of young students of engineering.

12.00 PM Lunch for the honoured guests

12.45 pm Departure for Industrial visit for the faculty and students to M/s
Microteck Industries, Udyog Vihar, Peeragrhi for a conducted tour and
presentation.
