Example Proposal Analysis

Introduction
- The writer clearly states the purpose of his memo relating to communication cross professionally.
- Background information displays why the interest developed. It also indicates that there may be
some experience in dealing with cross-cultural communication personally, and by proxy through
his family members.
- At the end of the introduction, the writer does outline the rest of the proposal.

- What does he mean by cross-cultural?

- The complication of communicating cross-culturally is stated in the document. However, the
writer does not explain why it is such an issue, why it needs to be resolved, and what he will do to
solve the problem.
- The proposal is not persuasive.

- There is no objective.
Solution
- There is no solution included.
Method
- There is no method. He only states that he attained books from scholarly writers.
Resources
- The only resources that are mentioned are books and articles that have been collected. However,
there are no resources in relation to the solution because there is no solution. It doesnt seem like
he has a solution.
Needs schedule, cost analysis if there is a cost involved in the program, and how the project will be
carried out through management. Qualifications would be nice to add.
Conclusion
- There really is no conclusion. He inserts his contact information.
