Dear Parent/Care-giver,

Your child will be involved in an exciting semester in Physical Education. Children need to be
aware of the importance of being physically active and know how to take responsibility of their own
fitness and health. If students are taught the benefits of PE they can better understand that
exercise and fitness is an avenue to a better quality of life.
Sports Carnival

On the 14th of November we will be holding our
Athletic Sports Carnival on the school grounds.
All students from Kindergarten to year six
participate in this event to earn points for their
house. Each student that participates earns
points for their house. The house with the most
points at the end of all the events wins the
2014 sports award.

The Athletic Sports consist of various traditional
track and field events ranging from 100-meter
