The epic of gilgemesh

The greatest work of the sumerians, the bible of their civilization. gilgemesh is 2/3 God,
Couragous, handsome, brave. He is, however, corrupted by power, and Rapes the
women and kills people on a whim, they call out to the gods in rage and desperation,
and the gods send Inci do to challenge him. They fight until Inci-do is pinned, but then
become friends because of being awesome. Ana falls in love with Gilgimesh, but he has
too much of a dominant personality; in rage, she and the other Gods send a raging bull.
Togather, inci-do and gilgemesh are able to defeat him. The Gods kill Inci-do to get at
gilgemesh. He goes on a quest to find eternal life, "bitterly he wept for his friend. he
despaired in his heart. Uptnapishtim knows the secret to eternal life. so he set out to
find him". He comes across the women called Sadurey, who asks him where he is
hurrying to, he tell her, but she says that for men, their will always be death, so its best
to live, to love your family and your children. He keeps going anyway, and finnally
finds Uptnapishtim. He says the their is no Permeanence he tells him the story of the
flood, which is much like the Story of noah. The anthropological Gods are awoken by
the noise of the humans. So they decided to destroy humans by flood. The Godess cries
out in agony, and so the gods of heavan and hell wept. Uptnapishtem was on a boat,
and like noah, tried to find land, and the gods were honored. He then told him about a
plant that could keep him alive. he finds it, but its stolen from him by a serpent. He
returned to rule as king, and ruled justly.
