development, learning styles, strengths and needs

* Evidence
Ms. Soriano had 6 classes of science students that she observed and taught in her
two lessons. She was kind and considerate with all students but would need more
time to really get to know the individual students and their strengths and

hands on activities, and oral communication and questioning) which helped reach
different students.

more hot than standing in the sun with a white shirt. This is an area that will
continually be developed further.

Ms. Soriano provided various learning opportunities for all students. She did one
lesson at a time on standards we hadn't covered yet in science, so it was difficult to
use assessment for instructional planning. She will have more of an opportunity for
this next semester.

opportunities are something she can develop more next semester as she will have
more time with her class.

* Evidence
One thing that was lacking was assessment. I didn't discuss this with her prior as I
expected to get feedback/grades on how students did in their lessons. This is an area
I would have liked to get more information on but can't really ding her because we
didn't talk about it and I didn't tell her my expectations. She also only had one day
with students and was limited to one lesson, but it still would be nice to get an idea
how the students did.

Ms. Soriano showed up on time and was well prepared for each day/lesson. She
followed through on her responsibilities and made sure to provide all the materials
she would need in her lessons. She accepted feedback on her lesson plans and made
adjustments accordingly. She also conducted herself professionally among all
students and other teachers and dressed in a professional manner.
