Data is recorded on-site and analyzed off-site. The generated report includes classification of the wires as well as the approximate location of detected defects.

This is a Non Destructive Ultrasonic Inspection
method used for the detection of breaks in steel
wires and strands. It is the result of extensive
research performed with IFSTTAR Laboratory and
has been thoroughly tested on lab mockups and
during site surveys.
The system is used to inspect steel wires from one
wire end. Flaws will generate reflected signals that
can be recorded and analyzed.
After data processing, inspected wires are classified
in categories according to the probability of internal
damage:
Green: no significant reflected signal
Red: high probability of broken wire
