Senior Network Engineer / Senior Cisco Network Engineer 6 months contract
My London based client, is urgently seeking for a Senior Network Engineer / Seni
or Cisco Network Engineer on a 6 months contract. You will need extent knowledge
of networks, cisco routers and switches.
Key Skills needed for Senior Network Engineer / Senior Cisco Network Engineer:
* CCIE level general knowledge on Cisco Networking Equipment
* Knowledge of Datacenter LAN and WAN protocols - need OSPF, BGP and ability to
work with VRF's on top of the LAN Use of IP-SLA.
* Use of multiple security contexts and virtual firewalls ie Check point VSX, Ci
sco FWSM, Cisco ASA within a Datacenter enviroment
* Understanding of Secure Perimeter product principles.
* Ability to produce Detailed Designs Documents for Secure Perimeter
* Cisco 6500 - CAT-OS and I-OS Cisco ACE20 Cisco FWSM Cisco IDSM2 Cisco UCS Cisc
o ASA, Cisco UCS
* Checkpoint SPLAT and Provider 1, VSX
* Bluecoat SGOS
* Experience of supporting large virtualised environments utilising VMware & bla
de technology from a network point of view.
* Demonstrable experience of troubleshooting tools and techniques in LAN/WAN net
work environments
* Experience in providing 3rd/4th line support for Cisco based computing environ
ments.
