A leading global financial Trading company is seeking a Network Engineer ( Cisco
, VLAN, TCP/IP ).
The Network Engineer ( Cisco, VLAN, TCP/IP ) will have knowledge on various netw
ork hardware/software but biased towards Cisco Routers, Switches and Load balanc
ers.
Responsibilities for the Network Engineer ( Cisco, VLAN, TCP/IP ) will include:
- Good knowledge as a Network Engineer
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Have a good knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, load balancing and security
concepts; /BGP/VRF routing concepts, IP/ARP/MAC/Spanning-tree issues and configu
rations, troubleshooting VLAN or physical connectivity for servers and other dev
ices, troubleshooting Cisco access-list, NAT issues
- Have thorough knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, flags and be able to troubleshoot
connectivity issues using Wireshark/Tcpdump/snoop
- Knowledge of data centre L2/L3
Desired Skills for the Network Engineer ( Cisco, VLAN, TCP/IP ):
- Minimum of Cisco CCNP qualification with CCDA and CCDP preferred
