Jacob
Jacob will use social skills
awareness at least 80% of the
time.
Station Teaching Station Teaching will give Jacob the
opportunity to have two teachers reinforce
proper social skills so that during the
independent station, Jacob can attempt to
practice what he is learning. During the
independent station, Jacob will also have a
peer mentor to support him with proper
decisions.
Nolan
In 27 weeks, Nolan will be able to
make predictions and draw
conclusions before, during, and
after reading assigned text.
Nolan will demonstrate this by
providing at least four pieces of
information by using pictures,
background knowledge, and/or
using content from the reading.
One Teach One Assist The primary teacher will instruct the whole
class, but prompt Nolan to answer specific
questions aligned with his goal (e.g., provide
Nolan with three picture options to choose
from when answering a predication during
reading). The assisting teacher will move
closer to Nolan in order to assist him should
he need additional support while answering.
The assisting teacher might also provide
questions to Nolan during whole group, but in
a quiet manner so as not to distract the whole
group.


Sofia
Given a grade level reading
CBM, Sofia will read 120 wpm
with 95% accuracy.
Alternative Teaching Sofia will receive intense reading fluency
instruction during small group. The teacher will
time and record Sofia reading in order to
provide targeted support.
