Subject: Factors affecting the environment.

Respected Sir,
I am writing this letter to you to discuss the
factors affecting the connection between us and the environment.
I would also like to make some suggestions to your agency
related to how they could encourage individuals, companies &
scientists to reduce the use of objects harming the environment.
Firstly I would like to state that our environment dramatically
affects us. For example: a pleasant environment can change our
mood to relaxed.
Environment also affects our health; in countries
where there is a lot of noise pollution, people usually have
listening problem. In developing countries where there is a lot of
air pollution, which usually leads to asthma or lung cancer.
Littering the environment has a negative impact on our planet and
damages areas where we live, work, and play. Litter also poses a
threat to our public health and is often a breeding ground for
bacteria.
Driving is one of the biggest causes of pollution. If
you want to use your car, ask yourself the following question:
do I really need my car? Walk or use your bike if the journey is
a short one. This would help to avoid air pollution. The
environmental agencies should encourage people to use
renewable energy resources which cause a less amount of
pollution. To avoid water pollution, Use less fertilizer on your
lawn. When it rains, excess fertilizer runs off into storm sewers
and pollutes streams. Environmental agencies should spread
awareness in the form of pamphlets and websites so that
people are aware of protecting the environment.
I hope that you will publish my letter in your
prestigious newspaper for the awareness of people. Thanking
