This home/school compact is applicable for all students who need extra help to meet the educational
standards set for the school. There will not be individual compacts as students will be moved in and out
of Title 1 on an as needed basis. This new plan is to make sure that individuals are given help based on
data, teacher observation, parent concerns, and results of the student assistance team decisions. The
students will be monitored for progress on a monthly basis and their program revamped accordingly. We
are in the hopes of working with more students for shorter periods of time. But, more importantly, the
work will be skill/strategy specific.

Another improvement with this new system is that staff will be working more collaboratively with each
other in providing the services for all children. We will be maximizing the use of all staff. It should be a
great improvement.
