Students are required to reflect on the lesson, using their knowledge, to an online class publication using Pad let. Questions to prompt students higher order thinking: Why are values in sport important? What can we learn about the power of the Olympics? What can sport teach us? Other than the skills of the sport and winning (Leadership, respect, commitment etc.) Why is the flying of the flag so important/significant at the Olympic Games? Why do Nations have flags? What kind of actions break the rules in Olympic sports competition? What happens to people who break the rules? Can judges or officials cheat? How? Why would they cheat? Is cheating worth it to win?
