overuse a resource for their own good, resulting in a depletion of the resource.





4. Explain how Elephants are a good example of the Tragedy of the Commons. 1000s of elephants
were being poached for their ivory tusks, the more rare the ivory became, the more it was
wanted.





5. What is CAMPFIRE? A property rights based approached. It enabled local people to help protect
resources in the wild.

10. Everybody seems to have a better chance of winning in the Private version WHY? In the
second round you have private bunnies so you can save your own bunnies and no one can take
them, when in public land everybody can take all of the bunnies.
