Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Program
Served as Deputy Director, acting Chief Operations Officer, and a member of the Senior Executive Service overseeing the
MEP Program, providing business consulting services to smaller U.S. manufacturing firms.
Successfully supervised and directed a national network of 50 federal Project Managers and 1300+ non-profit
employees. Managed an annual public-private partnership program budget totaling $300M, including a $90M private
sector annual investment, resulting in a successful combination of funding from state and federal sectors.
Created and executed a new staffing organizational plan resulting in better time management and a renewed interest in
program mission involvement. Reorganizational efforts allowed a $100M funding allotment for consulting
projects, and a 30% increase in MEP federal funding.

Served on Detail Assignment as Executive Liaison between Commerce Deputy Secretarys Office and the
International Trade Administration (ITA) to plan and execute the SelectUSA 2013 Investment Summit.
Successfully orchestrated event focused on encouraging increased investment in the United States by foreign
investors, and increasing collaboration across Commerce bureaus and government agencies. 1300 total
participants attended event, including the President of the United States, 4 Cabinet-level Speakers, 20 Chief
Executives, and 660 international guests.
