This week children will continue to look at how we use non-verbal communication to express ideas and messages. We will use
their knowledge gained last week on facial expressions, but also incorporate posture to deepen their understanding of how
the whole body can communicate messages/emotions. We will even use dance to show how we can get a message across
without using words using the theme of a clown. In addition, we will start to touch on how music and art can be used as a
form of communication and will introduce the concept of the colour wheel of emotions. The children will be
verbalising/drawing/painting/moving according to how they feel when they listen to different types of music.
