The schematic of ZnO nanorods/p-GaN

film heterojunction structures for
NORLED.
"NORLED" device was fabricated by well
aligned ZnO nanorod arrays were grown
directly on the GaN substrate, by a low
temperature hydrothermal growth
process.
This method seems to be a promising
way of fabricating pn heterojunction
nanorod devices.
Through the photoluminescence
measurement at a room
temperature, Ultraviolet (UV)
emission of "NORLED" device at
about 388 nm.
