WHAT TO DO RIGHT AWAY --> getting started with Younique your first week.
1. READ THIS PRESENTER'S HANDBOOK :)
2. LOG INTO YOUR WEBSITE. www.youniqueproducts.com/yourname. Get familiar with the site and the products.
3. READ THE YOUNIQUE PRESENTER AGREEMENT so you know what the company policies are.
You CANNOT sell Younique products on 3rd party websites like Ebay, Craigslist, StoreEnvy, an online Boutique etc...
It is against company policies. If Presenters are involved they get one strike warning. If they don't act immediately
is grounds for termination." If you see someone doing this, you can email their name to
compliance@youniqueproducts.com. There is no need to contact the presenter in question. You also cannot have
the word Younique in any website you create or email address.
4. CONNECT ON FACEBOOK using the links on the following page. Its important for you to connect with your
sponsor and upline leader. Remember that this is your business and you are responsible for asking your sponsor
for the help you need. Also, do not post your website or message people looking for more information on the
corporate Younique FB page or another Presenter's page/group. Corporate distributes leads as they see fit and
posting your website on another Presenter's page is just bad taste.
5. START YOUR OWN PARTY AS YOUR LAUNCH PARTY. Any products you order, make sure you order them through
a party. Use your party link as the website you share with friends and leads. Before you set up your first party,
read through your uplines online party tips. Theres more than one way to have a successful party and your elite
should have training available. . Make sure to invite EVERYONE to your launch party!! Encourage your friends
and customers to book parties!! If you need ideas, join another Presenter's party. There's no ONE way to do itfind what works for you and go for it. You can also find great tips on this Virtual Party Facebook Group.
6. WRITE DOWN YOUR OWN "30 SEC COMMERCIAL". This will be how you introduce Younique to others. Practice
saying it so it is 2nd nature and just rolls off your tongue.
7. MAKE A LIST OF 100. Make a list of everyone you know and start contacting and inviting them to participate with
Younique in any of the following ways: joining as a Presenter, hosting a Party, purchasing products, or referring a
friend. Write a star next to or circle those who have a large network or have influence in their circles. These are
great people to start with! Invite them to learn more about the business, host a party or try out the products for
themselves. Your list should grow every day by adding two people to your list that you meetevery day! This is
important in that you never have a dried up cup of contacts. We celebrate ALL the nos in this business!
8. MARKET YOUR BUSINESS ON FACEBOOK. If you want you can CREATE A BUSINESS FACEBOOK PAGE and share it
will all your friends. You can't just use "Younique" only in the name. You must specify that you are an
Independent Younique Presenter. So, "Younique by Lindsay" is okay!! Learn how to create and market your
Facebook Page. One of the best things you can do is to post something on your profile. Take a photo of you with
the lashes on OR use another photo from our photo gallery. On your post don't write too much info!!! This is
REALLY important. You want to peak your friends curiosity so they will ask more questions. Here's an example of
what to write:
"Just discovered this super cool product that makes my lashes look awesome! I'm in love!!!! Let me know if
you want more info about it. Super cool!!"
8. BOOK AT LEAST 6 PARTIES. This is SOOOO important! Parties work and they are some best ways to get sales
AND new presenters. You want to have a minimum of 5 parties - but you can book up to 10-15 parties at a time.
And because these are online parties, you can literally hold them all at the same time. Ask your friends, ask your
customers, ask your leads. Ask everyone to host a party.

COMMISSION & ROYALTIES 101 --> learn how you get paid!

RANK BREAKDOWN
WHITE = 20% commission
YELLOW = 25% commission (once you hit yellow you NEVER go back to 20% commission)
PINK and BLUE = 25% commission + earn bonus off your group wholesale sales.
GREEN through BLACK = 30% commission + earn bonus off your group wholesales sales + earn bonus off
your generation elite leaders and their groups. First Generation is your first Green leader or above in your
downline and their circle. Second Generation is the next leader down the line.
TITLE RANK VS. PAID RANK
Your recognized status will never go down once you reach it. (for example, if you hit PINK one month, from then
on youll be recognized as a PINK presenter until you move up to the next rank) However, your paid as status
resets at the beginning of the month. The only exception is once you hit yellow, you never go back to white. To
check your current status you can go under my tools then to my office. Click on My Royalties
REQUIREMENTS TO ADVANCE IN RANK
Wholesale Sales are 75% of Retail Sales.
First Level Presenters are those you personally sponsored.
First Generation Elite is someone that has advanced to GREEN or higher.
COMPANY SALES include every single person in your entire downline
CIRCLE SALES include all sales for your group EXCEPT for any ELITE PRESENTER in your downline and their
group.

HOW YOU GET PAID


Younique pays its Presenters through an outside company called PayQuicker. Its basically like your own separate
bank account just for your business. You get paid three hours after every sale. After you make your first sale you
will receive an email to set up your account. When setting up your Payquicker account, please do it as personal.
You can transfer money out of your PayQuicker account to any bank account, with a 50 cent transfer fee.
PAYQUICKER DEBIT CARD
Once you reach $50 in commission PayQuicker will issue and mail out your debit card. This card is directly
connected to your PayQuicker account, so once your commission is deposited you can use it immediately. Be
aware that there are some fees if the card declines, if you use the PIN in a transaction. It may take 2-3 weeks to
receive your card.
ACTIVE STATUS VS. QUALIFIED
Active Status: You must sell (or purchase) $125 worth of
products every rolling 90 days to stay active as a Presenter.
If you become inactive, your website is de-activated so you
no longer have the ability to place orders. Once you become inactive you have 6 months to contact support to
place a qualifying order (to get you back up to $125) and your website will be reactivated and your downline
returned.
QUALIFIED is a term to achieve rank advancement. To become a PINK Presenter you need to have one Qualified
Presenter. Qualified means they have sold $125 in a calendar month. Different ranks have different requirements
for the number of qualified Presenters.
DOWNLINE
Each Presenter you personally sponsor is part of your First Level. Everyone that you sponsor and that anyone on
your team sponsors is part of your Downline. You can view your downline by selecting My Company under My
Office. If you click on a Presenter you can find their phone number, Facebook link and their sign up date.

Direct sales is not a get rich quick scheme. That being said, you can make a significant income with Younique! In
this company, hard work, persistence and leadership is highly rewarded.
WHITE & YELLOW PRESENTERS
These tables give you an idea of what you can earn, but is not a guarantee of income.
Your FIRST GOAL as a NEW PRESENTER should be to sell $1000. Once you reach $1000 PRS, not only will you earn
your investment back (and double that) youll promote to a YELLOW PRESENTER and will earn 25% commission
from then on out! And if you sponsor as you sell, you can hit PINK & YELLOW at the same time. You MUST
promote to YELLOW before you can promote to any other rank.

BUILD A TEAM & SEE SOME GREEN


Building a team by sharing and sponsoring is the fastest & most profitable way to grow your business. Those
numbers shown are on the LOW end for each rank. If you have a larger team than required by rank, the numbers
will be larger. Build a team WIDE as well as DEEP to make the most from the compensation plan.

HOST COACHING is the #1 indicator of success for your party!! Get your hostess on board, let her know what she
needs to do for a successful party.
TIPS TO SEND YOUR ONLINE HOSTS
I am so excited for your Online Younique Party!! Here are some tips to ensure a successful party:

Once the group/event is created, immediately invite at least 100 people. But, I actually recommend 200-400
people. The more invites, the more attendees. Even someone you think may not be interested just may end
up loving the products!

Every time an invite joins the party page, greet & welcome them personally with excitement! Your
excitement is very contagious; use your words to express this. Also, ask them to extend an invitation to their
Facebook friends as well! The more the merrier applies here!

Make your own post, including pictures even! At least once daily (the more the better) during your party.
Ideas for posts can be asking the Presenter questions, telling a funny cosmetic-related story that women will
relate to while tagging your friends in the post, review a product you have already tried. REMEMBER: Your
friends will NOT be interested in your party if you are not there.

Once the party ends, your host rewards will be automatically added to your Younique account. Simply go to
my website, login and you can use your earned Younique Cash toward any products, including collections.
Host Rewards do expire after one year.

HOW TO HOSTESS COACH FOR A HOME PARTY


FIRST COACHING CONTACT
1. Go through Hostess Packet with her

Samples of makeup and skincare (Have her purchase the 3D lashes for herself so she can show off her results)
2. Tell her about Virtual Party and that she can take orders with order forms or direct people online to order if they
cant make it to the party.
3. Coach her to write down a guest list. If possible, get the list from her and mail out invitations for her. Educate
her about email/fb invites and how phone calls and face to face contacts work best.
4. Help her make a wish list of products. Let her know what size the party needs to be in order for her to get
those products.
5. Invite her to try the products, post results and then schedule next call within 48 hours..
6. Let her know what you need at the party (table/access to bathroom or sink, etc ... )
SECOND COACHING CONTACT
1. Ask if its a good time to talk
2. Go over wish list
3. Review amount needed to earn the wish list.
4. Ask her if shes created her guest list. If not, encourage her to use F.R.A.N.K.

The best thing you can do is just always assume that people are going to purchase - even right there on the spot.
Dont be afraid to ask for the sale!! If you are taking orders, have a clipboard with an order form and hand it to
them and say, okay, lets get you started or lets get your favorite products ordered for you.
ASK CHOICE QUESTIONS or QUESTIONS THAT WILL ALWAYS BE ANSWERED YES
Direct them to the products and ask them what colors do you usually like to wear instead of do you wear eye
shadow. Or ask, Why dont we have you sit down and you can sample the lashes right now?
LEVERAGE THE MONTHLY SPECIALS AND THE COLLECTIONS
Show them how much they save by purchasing in bulk or with the specials. People love great deals!
BE THE PROFESSIONAL
People you are speaking with, whether its an at home party, a booth, or just a casual conversation, are assuming
that YOU are the expert. While its okay to not know all the answers (you can always tell them you just got started
and you are still learning about all the products), be confident that you know enough! They will base a lot of their
decision on your recommendations and well as how well you listen to what they would be interested. Ask
questions and then be quiet and LISTEN!
STUDY PSYCHOLOGY
* Nod your head when you ask questions to prompt others to say yes.
* Start with a higher priced item and be able to offer an alternative.
* When you ask a question WAIT for the ANSWER.
* Tell yourself you CAN!! Daily Positive Affirmation!
* Always listen for the maybe.
* Offer alternatives to objections.
* Learn to answer objections with FEEL, FELT, FOUND.
Ex: Customer: Im worried this mascara will take too long to put on each morning
Presenter: I understand how you feel. I, too, am busy in the morning and I dont always have a long time to put
on makeup. What most people have found is that it really takes just a few minutes to get the look they want . . .
really not that much longer than regular mascara. Once you get the process down it will be super quick!
You can use this same method for addressing objections in any area.
Ex: Prospective Presenter: I just dont have time to do a business like this
Presenter: I understand how you feel. I have other presenters that work or have busy families that have the
same concern. What they found is that this business is very mobile and because so much can be done online or on
the go, the business can fit into the other important responsibilities they already had. If we could site down with
your schedule and I could show you how this could work, would you be interested?

You, and only you, are responsible for building your business. Your upline cannot build your business. You cannot

LISTEN MORE THAN YOU TALK
We have one mouth and two ears because it is MORE important to listen than to talk. If you truly believe this
business can help someone, let them know that. The key is to ASK questions and then listen. Ask them what do
YOU want out of life? and then STOP TALKING (I know its hard sometimes!!). You are not trying to sell them
on being a Presenter. You are trying to see if this business is a good fit for them. As you continue the conversation
you can use wording that conveys urgency, like: You couldnt have picked a better time to sign up because . . .
After your conversation, gauge where they are at. Ask, on a scale of 1-10, 1 being youd like to be a great
customer and 10 being you are ready to sign up, where are you? If they are anywhere above a 6, ask more
questions to understand what their concerns are and what would need to happen to get them to a 10.
THE FORTUNE IS IN THE FOLLOWUP
Im going to tweak that one a little. The fortune is in the QUICK followup. Make sure you follow-up in a timely
manner. If they dont sign up after your initial conversation, let them know you will contact them in a certain
amount of time and then write down that information on your calendar. Dont stop inviting until they say no.
Not now is not a no. Everyone has different timing. Ask them when would be a good time to follow-up with
them and make sure you write it down in your calendar. Then follow through!
Make a list of your prospective presenters and start building relationships with them. Check in with them . . . ask
how their family is doing, etc . . . Let them know you are interested in them as a person, whether they decide to
join or not.
DEFAULT ON THE PRODUCT
If they decide the business is not for them, get them started as a customer. Help them pick out a product to
purchase. Who knows, they may turn into a Presenter down the road.
DEMONSTRATE SUCCESS
People are attracted to successful people. Use Facebook to talk about your business in a subtle way and youll
have people asking YOU about your business.

1. NO SPAMMING: I want to start off with a tip about what NOT to do. When people first start recruiting, many of
them decide to just spam everyone they know (and people they dont know). This is most common on Facebook.
Let me tell you, you will NOT be successful if you are just posting info about your business opportunity on
everyones wall, in every group on Facebook, or sending mass emails to your entire friends list. What that will
typically result in is you being banned from groups, unfriended by some people, and ignored by many. You have
to have more finesse. Which brings us to our next tip
2. FIND YOUR TARGET MARKET: The people who are open to making money from home. The people who would
have an interest in your particular company. Find THOSE people and start marketing direct sales info to them.
They are the ones who are more likely to be interested in what you have to offer.
3. DONT WASTE TIME on a single potential recruit. You should not spend all your time trying to convince one
person to join your team. And dont be disappointed when the ONE person you were sure would join doesnt. If
you do youll miss out on a bunch of other people who may be interested as well. Keep going through your list
and just follow-up with those youve already invited.
4. MAKE IT ABOUT THEM, not about you. Instead of wondering what your potential recruits can do for you, focus
on what this business opportunity can do for them. How can it change THEIR lives? Ask them what THEIR
dreams are. Ask them what they would do with an extra $300/month .... and then what they would do with an
extra $900/month .. and then $2000/month and then $10,000/month. Talk about THEM - make it all about
THEM.
5. BUILD THE RELATIONSHIP. As you spend time with your recruits make sure that you are not viewing them as
simply numbers or money signs. They are PEOPLE. Get to know them. Are they married? DO they have children?
DO they work outside the home? These questions not only enable you to know who you will be working with it
can also help you to motivate them throughout their journey.

Most people come into direct sales wanting to be successful. Since youve read this Presenter Handbook this far
in, Im assuming you are one of those go getters! Yeah!! So, Im going to tell you the truth because I also want you
to be successful.
You cant build a strong, successful business without sponsoring. Sure - you can earn money from commissions,
but that will never be residual income, which is the true reward of a business like this. Residual income means you
can have a slow month in sales and still earn a great check... and by great I dont mean just $2,000/month. I mean
$5,000 - $10,000 and MORE! Sound good to you. Perfect!!
So, lets debunk some myths to network marketing:
MYTH #1: Slow & Steady Wins the Race. FALSE!!
This may be true in corporate America where you go to school, get a job, and be patient as you work your way up.
This does NOT apply in network marketing. Excitement and momentum creates growth- not slow & steady
movement. In terms of the tortoise & the hare, you want to be the hare first - speed ahead with 100% energy,
then the tortoise where you are steady, and then every once in a while be the hare again, and then the tortoise.
That means you want to start building a team right away.
MYTH #2: Just Recruit 1 Person a Month for a Successful Business. FALSE!!
You cant build a strong, successful business by sponsoring 1 person a month. This business depends a lot on
momentum, excitement, and seeing success right away. Sure, if you add one presenter each month by a year
youll have 12 presenters. But statistically only 1/3 of the presenters you sponsor will do much with the business.
So, that gives you four people. What if those happen to be the LAST four your sponsor. That means youll work 8
months without having any of the people you sponsor take off with it. Talk about frustrating. You may think this
business isnt for you or that the company isnt the right fit, but the truth is you havent talked to and invited
enough people. You may give up and quit without realizing you just werent given the right information.
MYTH #3: JUST DONT QUIT & YOULL BE SUCCESSFUL.. FALSE!!
Well, you definitely dont want to quit... but come on. This is a business and you need to put in more than 10% or
20% effort. Just not quitting is not enough. That attitude only applies in corporate jobs where you can maybe get
by just doing the minimum. To be stellar you need to put in effort. 80%-100% effort right at the beginning.... or if
you are already months into your business- put that effort in right now. Think of your business like an airplane. If
you want to take off can you just put in 20% throttle or 20% throttle. NO. Will you move forward - yes... but youll
never get off the ground. I promise this business is much more fun and rewarding if you are flying. So, dig down,
work hard, put in the 100% effort to get your business moving, and then you can pull back a little and watch it
grow.

ITS A NUMBERS GAME
Its really not about how talented you are or about how good at sales you are. It comes down to numbers. Have
you talked to enough people and invited enough people to join you? Thats the only secret! Those that are
successful share the opportunity with more people.
I want to encourage you to sponsor a minimum of 3-4/month (MINIMUM). If you want to build it BIG through,
youll want to sponsor more., Your first month you are filled with excitement and energy!! Use that to your
advantage. Make it a goal to sponsor at least 3-5 people in your first month. Can you imagine the excitement and
success youll feel right away!! So, how many people do you need to talk with to get those numbers?? Remember,
its just math! About 1 out 10 people you invite to join will actually join. So, you need to be talking & invited 30-50
people a month to get those numbers. Your odds will get better as you get better in talking with people.
Eric Wore, author of Network Marketing Pro, goes even a step further. He surveyed top leaders in different
companies and those that are earning 6 figures and more a year do something in common - they have a big burst
of sponsoring. BIG SPONSORING. They sponsor between 16 & 25 people in a short amount of time - 1-2 months.
They take a short amount of time and put in 100% effort and it pays off BIG TIME!! Imagine what your business
would look like with a team of 20 presenters. If we do the math of 1/3 that will take off with the business- thats 45 solid business builders. Youll promote to a GREEN presenter within your first 1-2 months and if you teach your
team to duplicate what youve done, youll be a Black Presenter before you know it. Even if JUST 4 of your
presenters decide to do the same BIG SPONSORING that youve done... 20x4 = 80 presenters JUST for those 4 legs,
PLUS your own 20 - youve got a team of 100 in just your first few months of the business. Talk about amazing

Use facebook to enlarge your circle of influence. Look over the friend suggestions on the right side and see if

Share posts that draw likes and get comments - but again, stay authentic to YOU.. Share inspirational quotes,
videos or share positive experiences you are having. Share things you are grateful for and things that make you
happy. Be funny! Share appropriate images that make you laugh- those quirky ecards going around are great

Many communities have set up selling/buying/trading groups basically imitate the idea of Craigslist: an online
garage sale. Some limit it to used items, while other allow local businesses to advertise services. Some are secret
or closed, others are open. All are FREE. Some of these groups may be small (100-300 people) but other groups
are massive (8,000+). Where else can you get in front of that many potentials in a short amount of time, from your
own home? Thats the power of Facebook!! Some of the TOP sellers & sponsors market on groups. Until our
market is more saturated, this is a great way to advertise.
JOIN GROUPS
There are thousands of groups across the U.S. & Canada (and beyond once we expand) so start searching for them.
You can start with local groups but then feel free to branch out to other areas. With Younique there are NO
geographical restrictions. Search for words like, buy/sell/trade, online selling, online garage sale, tag sale
(east coast), neighbors, friends, & the city/county name. Youll also notice that Facebook will suggest groups
for you - ones that other people already belong to. You can also join Networking and direct sales groups as well.
Be aware that if the group is OPEN your fb friends may see notifications of your postings. Thats usually not a
problem unless you belong to another direct sales company (or you dont want to bombard your friends with
posts). Facebook will only allow you join so many groups a day, so dont go nuts and join 100 in a day. Youll be
put in facebook jail which will limit what you can do on your account.
START POSTING
Here is an example of some posts you can add to a group. Make sure to include an awesome photo of eyes - 1-2
photos is all you need. Keep your posting to 1-3 sentences MAX. Peak the interest and have a great photo. Dont
include your website right away. Use the post as a way to start a conversation with them. Examples:

** You do want to be careful about spamming. I suggest you use groups to find leads and to make connections.
Its simply a way to start a conversation and relationship. Just remember that this business is foremost about
relationships! Dont post on top of another presenters posts. Play nice!!!
By messaging, you are able to start a conversation with that person, ask them more questions, etc .... Feel free to
take the conversation offline by asking for a phone number, especially if they start asking about becoming a
presenter. I CANT stress the importance of a phone call for someone interested in joining as a presenter!! Yes,
you can give facts and links over fb- but nothing expresses the potential of this business like the excitement and
urgency in your voice. Plus, youll be making that personal connection (laughing, having a happy sound to your
voice). You just cant replace that with FB. So, whenever possible- schedule a call.
Be aware that most messages will go to that persons other folder if you arent friends. Most people dont know
they have an other folder or where to find it. Those checking facebook from an iphone cant even see that folder
from their phone- they must check from a computer. Request that they friend you. Dont send them a friend
request - you can get in trouble with facebook if you send too many friend requests that dont get answered.
RESULTS- Your results are going to vary. I get the best results when I post in groups where there arent a lot of
presenters., which makes sense because its new. I also get great response in local groups when I offer local
pickup. Does everyone purchase right away? No. In fact, the majority wont - so dont get discouraged or
disappointed. And you wont get a sale off every post. It seems to me that I need to post on about 10-15 groups
before I start getting sales. But, once you have connected with them on FB you can go back a few days later and
check in with them to see if they had questions or if they were unable to order through the site.

A NOTE ABOUT NUMBERS
Success in Direct Sales/Network Marketing has a lot to do with numbers. The more people you talk with the more
people youll find that want to join or purchase. Remember its LESS about selling people on the products or
opportunity and more about FINDING those that will be interested. Also keep in mind that on average it takes
someone seeing something more than SIX times before they are interested. So, make sure you follow-up and
continue that relationship with the prospect, even if they arent quite ready to join.
HOW MANY TO FOCUS ON
One mistake that many new presenters make is to focus on that ONE new possible recruit. They continue to
follow-up with that ONE potential and dont put efforts into searching for other team members. While you should
never stop asking someone unless they say a definitive NO, put a note on your calendar on when to follow-up
with them and then get started on looking for others.

NATURALLY-BASED PRODUCTS
Every single one of our products are considered naturally-based and a majority of them are considered all-natural.
The National Ingredient Resource Center (NIRC) considers a product "all-natural," if it contains at least 95% of
ingredients that fits their criteria for natural ingredients. The other 5% may come from ingredients that do not
meet their criteria for natural, but do not contain synthetic fragrances, artificial colors, or harmful fillers.
Younique uses mostly natural and/or organic ingredients, as well as also using some synthetic ingredients.
Sometimes it is necessary to use a non-toxic synthetic ingredient (s) when no equivalent can be found in nature.
While the idea of using 100% all natural products may seem appealing, it is not practical and does not necessarily

NUT ALLERGIES
BB Flawless does have Shea Butter in it. The Food Allergy Research and Resource Program reports the shea nuts
are a tree nut, but that they do not belong in the list of commonly allergenic tree nuts. It is the oil from the shea
nut that is used. The oil contains little protein, which is what triggers the allergic reaction. The risk of a reaction to
the Shea Butter is considered to be extremely low to those who do have a nut allergy. Most people with nut
