BERNADETE BISHOP
Natural of Brazil, she started her art adventure with oils
on canvas; still in Brazil she took her degree in
Architecture. Since 1990 lives in Portugal, where she
has embarked on diverse working experiences like, Art
Teacher at the Escola das Naus of lagos and creator
and director of the INTÉ Theater for the last 10 years,
with youngsters from the Basic and Secondary schools
in Lagos. Her present work is the result of a voyage into
the world of watercolor, acrylic and other materials, a
truly enjoyable experience.
Natural do Brasil, iniciou a sua aventura pela arte,
com os óleos na tela; ainda no Brasil, graduou-se
em Arquitectura. Desde 1990 vive em Portugal, onde
tem embarcado em várias experiências de trabalho,
foi professora de arte na escola básica das Naus de
Lagos; criadora e directora do Grupo de teatro INTÉ
para jovens, em existência a 10 anos. O seu trabalho
no momento é uma viagem abstracta ao mundo da
aquarela e acrilico, em combinação com materiais
variados, numa experiência de imenso prazer.

MANUELA CANECO
Natural of Barão de São Miguel, qualified by the Lisbon
school of Belas Artes, has participated on several
exhibitions, individual and collective, in Portugal, France
and Germany. With a very well defined style, Manuela
works with all kinds of materials, having a preference for
watercolor, her great affinity with nature is her main
source of inspiration, in her vision of art, the colors and
forms of the landscape are constantly transforming and
recreating in search of new realities.
Natural de Barão de São Miguel, Graduou-se pela
escola de Belas Artes em Lisboa, tendo participado
em várias exposições, individual e coletivas, em
Portugal, França e Alemanha. Manuela tem um estilo
bem definido, e grande experiência em diversas
técnicas, mas tem preferência pela aquarela. Ela tem
uma forte afinidade com a natureza, que é a sua maior
fonte de inspiração; na sua visão de arte, as cores e
formas da paisagem estão em constante
transformação, recriando-se em busca de novas
realidades.
