come up with a plan for our High school Career
and present it in front of our class.
By completing this assignment I demonstrated
Speaking clearly to Convey Ideas and the ability to
present a report and answer questions.

Senior year, Personal finance
We Had to complete a work sheet on how to calculate
interest rates
By completing this I demonstrated performing basic
calculations. And using a calculator to solve a problem.
This will help me later on in life because if I ever need to
know how to calculate interest rates I will be able to.

Academic: Science & Technology

Chemistry Lab Book
Junior Year, Chemistry
We Had to keep a log of everything that we did while we
were working in the lab including writing down the
procedure.
By completing this I demonstrated Using the scientific
process, Hypothesis testing, data collection and analysis to
solve problems.
This will help me later on in life because the scientific
process can be applied to everyday problems and will help
me problem solve.

I wanted to donate blood to help other people that were in need
Skills I demonstrated were Recognizing and defining a problem,
determining the source of a problem and selecting the best way to
solve the problem.
This will help me in the future because I will be able to recognize a
problem when there is one and act according to that problem.

Working At IBR
Freshmen-Senior Year
I worked at IBR for four years doing pretty much anything they asked me to do
from painting the roof and interior walls to building test stands.
Throughout working at IBR I demonstrated many skills like demonstrating selfcontrol with minimum supervision and meeting work deadlines.
This will help me later on in life because having the skill of knowing that you have
to get something done on time and doing it the right way whether someone is
watching your or not is essential to becoming successful.

Personal Management: Organization

Creating Football Highlight Videos
Freshmen threw Senior Year
I collected clips by separating the good from bad. Trimmed all clips that I would be
using then edit all the clips into one complete highlight video.
When Making the highlight film I used various skills such as understanding the task
and creating a work plan and setting high standards for quality and observing
details needed to maintain it.
This will help me later in life because quality is key and developing a mindset of
not being satisfied with anything but the highest quality for my final product.
Making sure everything is finely tuned and meets all standards.

Personal Management: Flexibility and initiative

Junior year
Going through therapy after knee surgery to be able to be ready to
run track and train for football.
Skills that I showed by going through therapy are recognizing a
need on my own and take appropriate actions, Accepting changed
responsibilities and persisting in completing training on a task
until I reached my goal.
This will help me later on in life because it showed me that if I set
my mind on a goal and did everything thing that I had to do that I
could reach it. It also taught me that if you run into difficult times
you have to stay positive and move forward not backwards.

Taking Culinary Arts at the Career center
Senior Year
I decided to take culinary arts at the career center for my senior year.
By taking this class I am determining strengths and weaknesses and
interests in my career. And taking steps to achieve my career goals
This will help me later on in life because it is my first step into my next
phase of life. At career center I am learning the foundation skills that I
need to know to base the rest of my culinary career after.

My group and I had to come up with a presidential speech of what we
would do in a certain situation.
In this group project I used many skills to complete the task at hand like
asking questions and listening to others ideas, giving feedback in a positive
way and preparing and presenting the report for the team.
These skills will be useful later on with life because they will help me
communicate with groups of people and pull good ideas from the
conversations that will be held.

Genocide Paper
The academic reason for this assignment was to compare and contrast
two different books about genocide that we were required to read.
By doing this I was seeking out understanding in other peoples culture
and back ground. And accepting other cultures view point.
This will helping me later on in life because if you have an open mind
going into to things and accept other peoples cultures you will be able to
get along with more people.

Albion Football team camp
2014 season
The varsity football team went to a summer camp to work on our new offense.
By going to this camp I demonstrated the skills of understanding and contributing
to the mission of the team, demonstrating loyalty to the team and showing
commitment to the teams growth and improvement, and helping the team to
develop to meet needs in the future.
These skills will help me later on in life because It helped me develop a drive to do
whatever it takes to help my team succeed.

Grass Lake football program
Freshmen-senior year
I dedicated countless hours toward the grass lake football program from practices 5
days a week during school and summer workout 3 days a week, to going in on Sundays
to watch film during the season.
Threw out my time in the program I have demonstrated many skills such as carrying out
assignments, helping others accomplish there tasks, understanding team decisions and
working to carry them out too leading the team in developing its mission and goals.
These skills will help me later in life because being a part of this program thought me
how to be a part of something that is bigger the yourself and not doing the things that
you do for yourself but for your teammates and the people depending on you.
