Urban Ladder is a tight-knit start-up that's been at the forefront of driving furniture e-commerce in India. In
this space, striving to source best-in-class products and manage the entire category has been both our
biggest differentiator and one of our biggest challenges. We're now looking for passionate, highly driven
individuals to join our team and lead assigned categories for us.
Role
Act as the P&L owner for the category and be responsible for key metrics including Revenue,
Margins, Inventory, New Product Introductions
Range Planning: Mix of research, active consumer feedback, competition analysis resulting in a
plan for the category including materials, use-cases, price points, no of products, use-cases
Product Design and Selection: Working with vendors and in-house design team to come up with
continous product introductions in the category. Working with vendors and in-house domain
specialist teams to bring this to reality
Supply Chain Configuration: Plan a Supply Chain that optimizes SLAs, margins and bandwidth
Product Positioning: Drive product positioning dialogue in the company based on Market Analysis
and Consumer insights
Constant Product availability: Identify hit products, ensure strong inventory planning based on
constraints, ensure constant availability with a tight check on inventory
Interventions to boost category revenues: Keep a tab on data-trends to identify blips; come-up
with timely interventions to give a revenue-boost
with extremely high level of ownership, drive and initiative supported by prior track record
with a 2-3 years of work experience in a role with P&L responsibility in sales and marketing or
operations (premier consulting companies, startups)
