DAS do absolutely anything to deter claimants, thinking of anything no matter how absurd or criminal to put them off claiming any assistance from them on their legal insurance policy. Morally, they have no hesitation to ruin lives, even if--in the case of a legal dispute claim--they would have a good chance of winning, and thus stand a chance of making money from their involvement.
This is made worse, as they will criminally deceive the claimant into thinking they have no case, when they have a cast iron case, so what they will then generally give up on, could be worth millions. Worse still, they will talk to their client as though they are worthless, which may well be at one of the lowest times of their lives.
They have a firm called Lyons Davidson, who whilst a different company, have zero impartiality and are fully in cahoots with them. They are also totally incompetent.

Important information about the proposed changes to the
Zurich Financial Services Group Structure
‘This letter and the enclosed documents contain important information about our plans to
change the internal Zurich Financial Services Group (“Zurich”) structure. You should take time
to read them,
Our records show that you hoki, or have held, a policy or have an interest in a policy (for
example as a claimant) with one of the above companies. These companies are part of Zurich in
the UK
Zurich currently operates throughout Europe through a large number of general insurance and
life insurance companies. Zurich isin the process of reducing the number of separate insurance
companies within Europe through various restructuring initiatives. We now wish to simplify the
Zurich company structure in respect of general insurance in the UK.
‘Summary of proposed changes
Zurich proposes to transfer a number of general insurance policies, including your policy or
claim, to the UK Branch of Zurich Insurance Ireland Limited ("ZIIL UK") on 1 January 2009.
Zurich is also changing the company name and incorporation status of Zurich Insurance Ireland
Limited to Zurich Insurance plc with effect from 1 January 2009.
‘To make these transfers we are following a process that includes an Application to the High
Court of Justice in England and Wales ("Court"). The Court will assess whether itis satisfied
that the changes are fair to policyholders and claimants. To ensure this is the case we have
been working closely with the Financial Services Authority ("FSA"), our industry regulator,
before writing to you. An Independent Expert, whose appointment has been approved by the
FSA, has considered and prepared a report on how your interests might be affected. The
Independent Expert has concluded that the transfer “will not have a material adverse impact”
‘on transferring and non-transferring policyholders and claimants.

‘We would like to reassure you that there will be no change to how you currently deal with
Zurich in the UK, including in relation to any claim or complaint. Your policy number, cover,
premiums and policy terms and conditions will stay the same.
To ensure that you have the information you need to consider our proposals, we have enclosed
a booklet which includes a summary of the key elements of this restructuring and a summary of
the Independent Expert's report. We have also enclosed a ‘Question and Answer’ sheet that
helps to explain the changes by answering common questions.
You can obtain a more detailed version of the proposals from our website,
‘www Zurich.co.uk/changes2009. Alternatively, you can obtain a free copy by writing to us at the
‘address shown on this letter or calling our helpline on 0800 0159 121.
You do not need to take any action. However, if you believe that you would be adversely
affected by the proposed transfer then you are entitled to object (in person, by written
representation or by legal representation) at the hearing of the Application by the Cour. Please
refer to the enclosed ‘Legal Notice’ for details of how to do this.
