Evaluation: NICT should take up this offer.

ranks and files of NICT.
PBI might dictate terms

clientele.
PBI workload might
constrain NICTs
flexibility to offer
diverse service
portfolio.
PBI might force NICT
into third party
operating systems and
procedures resulting in
time consuming.

In absence ob NICT, PBI

mechanisms to enter

NICT has the required experience, infrastructure and technology for taking up this
project.
To grow or to sustain they need to get fixed income which is not possible otherwise.
PBI being a big government project they can maintain good relations and get avail
some new projects.
Also the competitors might take this as a chance to enter this market if they dont
take up this project.

So evaluating the advantages NICT gets with respect to disadvantages it better if they take
up this project.

2) What are ramifications with respect to SBI & BOI if it takes up PBI Offer?

The PBI offer might breed complacencies within the ranks of NICT leading to
inefficiencies and corruptions which will impact the working of SBI and BOI projects.
PBI might dictate terms against the current clientele SBI, BOI
PBI workload might constrain NICT flexibility to offer diverse service and so cannot
concentrate more on SBI and BOI.
PBI might collaborate directly with kiosk VLEs sidelining NICT, thereby encouraging
SBI and BOI to move to newly created channels by PBI.
