Sebastian, one doesnt usually think about dancing, but
thats exactly what we get in The Party Line, the video for the first single from their new album, Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, due out on Jan. 20 on Matador. The clip, directed by the Canadian duo Leblanc + Cudmore, who have lensed videos for Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks and F*cked Up, begins in black and white, giving it a slightly nostalgic feel that contrasts with the bands new, updated dance floor-ready sound. Theres no lame white-boy new wave dancing here, but rather some spectacularly choreographed scenes courtesy of Robert Binet.
