Total Population
The United Arab Emirates is an Arabian
country in the southeast of the Arabian
peninsula. The UAE are states called the 7
emirates, each is controlled by a Sheikh,
in which together they make up the
federal supreme council. Its estimated
population in 2014 is about 9.44 million
citizens. The capital of the UAE is Abu
Dhabi, which is one of the cultural and
commercial centres along with Dubai. The
United Arab Emirates have a very diverse
population, of which only 13% are UAE
nationals with the majority of the
population expatriates. The UAE has the
highest net migration rate in the world at
21.71

Population Distribution and

Density

The majority of UAE's population is in the

northeast side, where all the big cities are.
They are more concentrated on the coast
sides of the cities. Minority of the
population is in the west side of the UAE,
because of the little resources in that are
on the map. About 80% of UAE's
population is in the east side while 20% is
in the west and south side of the UAE.

Birth Rate and Death

Rate
Over the past years the birth and
death rate have decreased
dramatically they almost
dropped up to 50%.Birth rates in
the UAE are 15.14 per 1000 a
year while in the 1980s the birth
rates were 18.68 per 1000 a year.
Death Rates in the UAE are 4.76
per 1000 a year, while in the
1980s the Death Rates were
8.31per 1000 a year.

Demographic Problems and

Solutions
First: The approach of the Portuguese,
Spanish and the British armies to conquer
the land.
Solution: All the Emirates unite their
armies and fight together to repel enemy
attacks
Second: The small amount of locals in the
UAE.
Solution: The UAE set a limit for non-local
people in a city and encourage local
families to have more children.
