Affects of a Graduate Degree

To become a surgeon, I must attend medical school. I have no

choice. It is impossible to become a surgeon if I do not go to
medical school. A surgeon performs operations that are extremely
complex and require extensive knowledge of the human body and
surgical techniques that can only be learned in medical school.
Many times, surgeons are responsible for the life or death of their
patient. Therefore, a patient will choose a surgeon that has the best
education, the most experience, and the most knowledge to
operate on them. As a result, going to medical school is imperative
for any future surgeon. With that being said.

Conclusion

For the most part, the cost of living in Boston was cheaper than the
cost of living in New York City, considering the aspects that I
researched.

However, the average salary of a surgeon in New York City was

higher than that of a surgeon in Boston.

As for medical school, which is imperative for my career, there was

no significant conclusion I could make about the expensiveness of
school in New York City or Boston. Nevertheless, I realized that
medical school is incredibly expensive in general.

My personal preference is to work and live in New York City in the

future, but I would also settle for Boston.
