In the case of the people versus the United States, we the people, after many years of deliberation do offer the following evidentiary findings:
WHEREAS the grand jury in St. Louis has made the decision to not indict Darren Wilson for the murder of Mike Brown.
WHEREAS numerous eyewitnesses confirmed that Officer Darren Wilson killed Mike Brown in cold blood with his hands raised above his head
WHEREAS Mike Brown’s body was left lifeless in the street for over 4 hours.
WHEREAS a grieving community in need of help, healing and support was met with teargas, tanks, violence and repression by a militarized police force.
WHEREAS the entire process of “justice” was shrouded in secrecy.
WHEREAS the lives of Tamir Rice, John Crawford, Eric Garner, Tanesha Anderson, Vonderrit Myers, Kajemi Powell, Akai Gurley, Ezell Ford, Arthur Mcduffy, Israel Hernandez and so many more have been taken by police.
WHEREAS black people have resisted against the savagery of slavery in this country for over 400 years.
WHEREAS this system of law and order stands in direct conflict with our community of justice.
WHEREAS the state will spare no expense to protect property and the interests of the elite but refuses to protect it’s citizens
WHEREAS the system has taught police officers that black skin is a weapon and from birth is public enemy number one
WHEREAS the state murders our people and the media puts their corpses on trial.
WHEREAS this country has declared war on black, brown and poor, handing out prison and death sentences at will.
WHEREAS a movement has been born in the hearts of the oppressed and never died.
WHEREAS black and brown communities have never stopped resisting an oppressive state, in America or all over the world.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. The people do not only indict Darren Wilson, the St. Louis Police Department, the prosecutors, Governor Jay Nixon, but the people indict the corrupt system that has allowed all of them to work in unison for yet another travesty of injustice.
