the period of observation:
Tyra has demonstrated outstanding professionalism in all areas of teaching. She is ready for her classroom
and will be an effective teacher. Her past experiences working with preschool children in the classroom setting
combined with her professional growth during the student teacher process has set her apart from her peers in
the practical aspects of teaching. She shows initiative in planning and finding resources, she skillfully uses
assessment to guide her instruction. She uses data to differentiate instruction based on readiness. She also
plans a variety of learning activities to meet the needs of diverse learners. She has a positive attitude and
calm, poised demeanor at all times. The children respond well to her instruction and classroom management
style. Her cooperating teachers and school administrators have spoken highly of her during my visits to both
placement campuses, a sure sign that she fosters positive relationships with stakeholders.
