The League of Nations did not take action because France wanted to have
a weak Germany that is not able to effect anything in Europe and France
wanted to hold Germany weak, this is why France told Germany they have
to pay the Reparation-payments to them so that they get stronger and
Germany weaker.





2. In my opinion the Spanish civil war shortly before WWII can not be seen
as a dress rehearsal because it was fought under a completely different
topic than the second world war, that was fought because a dictator
wanted to lead whole Europe and to destroy the Russian empire. The
Spanish civil war was fought because two (or more) political groups
wanted to take over the government.

3. The most plausible reason for Britains try of appeasement is that they
learned from their mistakes of World War 1 so that they tried to stabilize
Germany now and that they execute the troublemakers so that they could
help to create a new and industrial strong Germany so that Britain and the
United States can improve of that.
