seemedlikeahardprocessforher.Icanseewhywhitepeopledon'twanttoadmitracism
benefitsthem.Itwouldtakesomuchworktolookbackoneverythingyoudidinyour
lifeandseeitinadifferentway.Speciallyifthatwaythatneglectssomethingyouwere
proudoforthoughtweretestamentstoyourcharacter.
ThisleadmetowonderifitsworthinterviewingwhitepeopleifthewhitepeopleIm
interviewingdontreallyacknowledgeorknowabouttheirprivileges.Itrelatestomy
researchbecausesheisliterallydefiningwhatitmeanstobewhiteinamerica.Ofcourse,
herdefinitionisnotwidelyacceptedsoImnotsureifIcanapplyittoeverybody.

Thissourceisnotcrediblebecauseitsacomedyvideo,butithasaveryrealargument.
Clearlythevideoismeanttobefunny,butitdefinitelysayssomethingaboutwhite
identity.Thisleadsmetobelievethatmaybewhitepeopledonthaveanativematerial
culture.ThisisasecondarysourcebutitfeelslikeaprimaryonebecauseIveheard
whitepeoplesaythesamethingsinreallife.Iwillusethisasacomicalreflectionof
whitepeoplesenseofmaterialwhiteculture.
