Research Question: What is required to become a psychologist?

Working Thesis Statement: Pursuing a career as a psychologist requires a specific college
degree and a license or certification.
Refine Thesis Statement: A practicing psychologist requires a college degree, license, and/or
certification.

needed to pursue a career as a psychologist. The article goes in depth on all the degrees needed
to become a licensed to practice psychologist. This article also describes all the required
licensing and certifications. The article includes how psychologist can improve their education
with advanced degrees provided. Additionally, important skills are needed to become a good
psychologist. This article describes how psychologists have to go through a series of programs
to obtain their degree in psychology. Included in the article is the explanation of licensing laws
varying from one state to the next. Kendras article will aid in my research the requirements to
become a practicing psychologist.

psychologists go through their fair share of education and a series of programs to obtain their
respective titles. Psychologists are required to have certain licenses, certifications, and
registrations to be qualified to practice psychology. A psychologist must also complete training
to become licensed. A psychologist specializes in psychology to treat patients with unique and
individual human behaviors and thought. Psychologist need important qualities to be able to
successfully help people and examine situations and/or information.
