Now that we are more immersed into a controversial topic, which is drugs use, I would like you to
pay attention to the next paragraph:
As we already know, Marijuana legalization is a very controversial topic. There are many opinions
about it, good ones and bad ones. An example of a positive point of view is the use of marijuana
for medical issues and an example of a negative is the use of it as a hallucinogenic.
The class will be divided in two groups, one is going to look for the advantages of marijuana
legalization and the other one is going to look for disadvantages.
Students will have 15 minutes to organize their ideas and then each group is going to have 15
minutes more to expose them.

MY FIRST CONCERT
AT THE END OF THE LESSON STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO RETAIL PERSONAL EVENTS

My first concert experience was when I was 17 years old and it was the concert of a rock band
called Escape the fate; it was also my first time speaking with a Native English speaker

Puzzle game
AIM : SWBAT identify vocabulary related with the topic in a crossword puzzle game.
LoWe will work in an activity that will help you acquire vocabulary through a crossword puzzle
game. This is a competition and you will have 5 minutes, the student who is able to find more words

Next we will work on the pronunciation, intonation and stress of every word.

Describe the last time you went to a restaurant. Describe an anecdote from the last time that you
have been to.

We will hear a conversation on a restaurant and I would like you to write down the language useful
expressions, and the words and phrases that call your attention the most that you are able to
identify like Would you like something to drink? Note: (even if you do not know the meaning of a

Activity 10
Retelling a classic fairytale
AIM: SWBAT retailing a classic fairytale story using simple past.
You will work in pairs. Choose a partner and seat facing each other. One of you will watch a short
video of a classic fairytale, and the other one will listen to music and checking a list of verbs in past
form.
Student A facing the board will watch the video and take notes of the sequence, and then will
retailed the story, without mentioning the name using the simple past. Then student B will watch a
different video and will do the same.
