 Reflective Self-evaluation
Firstly, I have to mention that this subject was very important to know the
importance of being a teacher and also to notice that this is what I want to do, this
is the job for me.
Now, about the things that I have learned in my experienced as a teacher in my
tutorial classes, I learnt that a teacher must be patient and a good listener, also a
good teacher must be a guide for his/her students in terms of manage and solve
problems in the classroom. Moreover, related to teaching I learnt that the projection
of the voice is an important factor at the moment to teach, give instructions also is
important and the instances of monitoring as well, because it is the stage where
you can see if the students are following the instructions and if they are learning
the content.
Finally, the areas of professional growth that I notice on me were the instructional,
because I thought that give instructions consist only in say what they have to do
but it is more than that, it is a process with stages where you have to explain the
activity, check if students understood the instruction, use CCQs, if you are going to
use a paper sheet it must be deliver at the end of the instruction, so on. And also
the use of strategies to teach and to be taught; a good teacher know how to use a
strategy to make easier the process of learning and how to teach a strategy to
make easier the content management for the students.
As a conclusion, I can say that my teacher experience was excellent, I realized
good activities and I get good results of my students, I applied everything what I
learnt in my previous years studying pedagogy and in my opinion it was successful.
